Question

When is the wedding?

Answer

August 12, 2023

Question

Where is the wedding and reception?

Answer

All events will take place at Lakedale Resort on San Juan island.

Question

You're getting married on an island? How do I get there?

Answer

The short answer is by ferry! Information has been provided on the Travel page. Keep an eye on the page, as more travel options may be added.

Question

When should I get there?

Answer

More than anything, we want to spend time with you! Guests are encouraged to join us Friday-Sunday to meet, mingle, and have fun!

Question

Where do I book lodging?

Answer

All lodging will be coordinated by the Bride and Groom. Lodging coordination will begin approximately 6 months before the wedding.

Question

Is there a dress code for the ceremony?

Answer

Semi-formal dress attire for the ceremony, stable shoes and sunglasses suggested as we will be outdoors and on packed gravel or grass for much of the day.

Question

Are young children invited?

Answer

Please! We'd love to have your little ones there. Kids know how to have a good time.

Question

Can I bring my own boat to Lakedale?

Answer

No. To avoid water contamination, all boats or watercrafts must be rented on premise.

Question

What meals are provided?

Answer

Breakfasts and dinners will be covered for those staying with us at Lakedale from Friday night to Sunday Morning. Note: this leaves Saturday lunch before the reception up to guests. There is a fun general store at Lakedale with pizza, sandwiches, and hotdogs, as well as the city of Friday Harbor less than a 10 minute drive away.

For all the days along the way
