Wedding Party

Meet our friends and family sharing the aisle with us.

David Maxwell

Father of the Bride

12/20/1964 - 5/24/2025 Forever the man who molded me into who I am today. 10 feet tall and bullet proof with a no frills attitude. My father showed me the importance of being honest to others and yourself and to never settle in this life. With a love of Chicago sports teams and 80's rock bands that I will continue to carry on. My rock, the voice of my conscious, and the memory I hold dear, forever etched on my heart.

Brandy Maxwell

Mother of the Bride

7/25/1968 - 1/11/2002 My mother was a gentle soul who held the family together. She taught me that you can be kind and still stand on your morals. Respect is earned and sometimes life throws you curve balls. She passed down her love for her family and children and the importance of staying true to yourself. Forever remembered for her loving and open heart and rose garden with her beloved lavender roses. A love forever etched in my heart

Sandra Akin

Mother of the Groom

For 40 years Harley and Sandra have been inseparable. Finding joy in being outside, riding motorcycles and exploring. Sandra shaped Harley into the man he is today. With a strong work ethic and a profound stubbornness that can only be assumed to be a family trait. Sandra has a heart bigger then measure and is always available for a quick chat or words of encouragement. Family is her strength and she never misses a chance to celebrate together through life's achievements and blessings.

Clint Cubberly

Giving away the bride - Best friend of Father of the Bride

Clint and Holly go way back to a time when Holly was just knee high to a grasshopper. One day Clint showed up at the family's front door and he never really left. I wasn't able to see it back then, but a bond had started that goes to this day. nearly 30 years later. At one point Holly babysat Clint (And Susie - Can't forget the glue to the Cubberly operation) children who then in then would babysit Holly's children. While my dad may have a birds eye view I couldn't imagine who I would want by my side and honoring my father then my father's best friend and my one and only uncle brother.

Justen Fastje

Man of Honor

Holly and Justen have been best friends since the 4th grade in 1997 after her family moved to the east side of Tuscon, AZ. That's nearly 30 Years!! Through countless deployments, growing families, cross country moves, and life changes Justen and Holly have always been able to rely on each other to get through the struggles of life and rejoice in the new adventures ahead. More than just best friends we are forever family.

Nate Vantellman

Best Man

Harley and Nate have been together for years and are best friends. They are usually found together climbing rocks, digging out of mud holes or taking their favorite yearly trip to Texas. They have been by each other's side through the best and worst of their lives and have always been able to call each other for sound advice. both Nate and Harley are just a call away and on stand by to help each other through the past, current and into future

Devin Simpson

Bridesmaid

Holly met Devin when she was just a little tike. Holly went from watching after Devin while her dad was working, supporting her through school, giving her an open heart to confide in and supporting all of her life changes to Devin doing the same for the Quinn, Hayden, and Jessa as well as Lacey, Hailey, Natalie and Lilah later down the road. When Devin first saw Holly and Harley together, she knew (maybe more than we did) that we would be down this road together and I couldn't imagine our day without her by my side.

Dylan Akin

Groomsman

Younger brother to the groom and youngest of four. Lovingly referred to as Dilly, Dilly Bite, and doughboy. Dylan is the life of the party and always up for making memories. Harley is very close to Dylan and chances are you will find both of them scouting facebook marketplace for the next great find while discussing the best way to BBQ and cut loose with the family and the next great float trip

Jessica Frank

Bridesmaid

Holly and Jessica met in 2014 through Jessica sister and from that first meeting we were inseparable. Prior to moving from Louisiana to Missouri in 2016, where you found Jessica you would find Holly. Countless friends BBQs, joint vacations, and Holidays together as a family that has been forged in a love bigger than either could hold on their own these two friends share a lifetime of memories and life changes that no time or distance can change. My forever ride or die bestie

Brian Norris

Groomsman

Harley and Brian met under the neon lights at Whisky Tango Bar. Working security together they began a friendship with their love of the outdoors. From those neon lights to the best cowboy coffee maker you'll ever find Brian has been a welcomed and warm addition to Harleys life and circle of friends. Float trips and baby racoons are always a highlight of memories while Harley and Brian sit around a camp fire before the sun comes up reminiscing on how great it is to live simply and connect with nature.
