Beatrix is our frequent breakfast/brunch place. Chris loves the lemon pancakes and Holly usually has the chicken enchiladas. This location is located in the Aloft hotel, but there are several other locations around the city.
Yolk is another breakfast/lunch place we frequent, but this one is for days when we are ready to EAT. Prepare to get huge portions and large soda glasses with that great ice the internet won't stop talking about.
Chris loves his donuts and this place, along with Stan's Donuts and Doughnut Vault, are often on our list. Each place has several locations so check the website to find the closest location to your hotel.
You must get here early, when it opens, to likely get in, but one of the places in Chicago where Chris gets the frequent customer discount. He loves the omelets.
