Travel Note
Driving from Missoula
If you are traveling from the Missoula direction, you will drive HWY 12 along the beautiful wild and scenic Lochsa River. It is a beautiful drive with several campgrounds, and river access sites to stop along the way. You will follow HWY 12 through the town of Kamiah and drive 15 miles to the HWY 11 Greer Bridge turnoff to Weippe. You will drive on HWY 11 for 18 miles to Weippe. Plan on a 3.5 to 4 hour drive from Missoula. Please note that you will go from Mountain Standard Timezone to Pacific Standard Timezone when you cross the Idaho border.

Driving from Coeur d'Alene/Spokane
Travel south from Coeur d'Alene on HWY 95 to Lewiston, Idaho. From Lewiston travel on HWY 12 through Orofino to the HWY 11 turnoff at the Greer Bridge. Travel on HWY 11 for 18 miles to Weippe, Idaho.
