We are eternally grateful that you have made the effort to join us in celebrating our marriage and as such are delighted to host you at the wedding venue - Kurhotel Skodsborg, for three nights from the 4th to the 6th of July 2025. This includes breakfast and spa and fitness access daily. Please let either Stephen or Hollie know in advance should you wish to reduce your stay to one or two nights. You are also very welcome to upgrade your room directly with the hotel.
Ultimately the answer to this will depend on where you would like to go. But invariably the best way to get into the city is via the local train in Skodsborg which is a short walk from the hotel. You purchase tickets from the station. The trains to and from Copenhagen are every 15 minutes and you can be at Nørreport station in 20 minutes. Google maps is your best friend & the hotel reception team will also be happy to help you. Tip: The train that heads towards the city centre from Skodsborg arrives at the platform on the other side of the track - so make sure you head over to the other side using the lift/stairs in good time.
Copenhagen in July tends to experience highs of 22°. On cloudier days in July the temperature sits around between 16°-18°. Of course we are hoping to see the sunshine, but showers are always a possibility.
While we hope that lots of you will be travelling to Locale 21 from elsewhere in the city centre after an afternoon of exploring CPH, we appreciate that some may be coming directly from the hotel. The train from Skodsborg to Nørreport goes every 15 minutes. Head to Skodsborg train station, a 9 minute walk from the hotel, board the trains towards Holbæk Street to Nørreport (20 minutes). Locale 21 is then a 9 minute walk from here. There is also the option a taxi using Viggo, Uber, or a local company via the hotel, but this option will likely be a bit more expensive.

The last train to Skodsborg from Nørreport is at 00:40. Yes! The hotel offers complimentary parking should you wish to hire a car. Simply register the car at reception during check in.
Your time is your own during the day on Sunday, with the dinner at Locale 21 not being until later on. You may feel tired from the night before, but should you wish to get out and about, we will be making a page on this website dedicated to things to do, see, eat and drink in Copenhagen and in the local area.
