Katy Trail Ice House

Casual beer garden with a roomy patio directly on the Katy Trail. Dog Friendly. We recommend to get there early and try the queso with a cold beer.

Turtle Creek Park Dallas

Great park with lots of walking trails and places to picnic. It is our favorite place to walk Sloane and where we took our engagement photos. Located close to Katy Trail and Uptown Dallas.

Paradiso

One of Holley's favorite restaurants. Enjoy brunch, dinner or drinks on the outdoor patio or inside amongst lush greenery. Located in the hip Bishops Arts District which has other restaurants, stores and colorful street art.

Billy Can Can

Luxe take on an old-west saloon for fancy cocktails, beer & wine, & elegant steaks. The location of one of Aaron & Holley's first dates and where they started to collect postcards. Located in Victory Park near other restaurants and bars.

The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza

Comprehensive exhibits on JFK's presidency & assassination. We highly recommend this museum if this is your first time in Dallas.

Dallas Arts District

Museum highlights include: DMA, Nasher Sculpture Garden, Perot and the aquarium. Restaurants include: Musume, Ellie's, Nusr-Et, Tei-An and Sloane's Corner

Fort Worth Stockyards

A must for any first time visitors to Texas. This is where the West begins, and nothing embodies Western heritage better than the Fort Worth Stockyards National Historic District. Highlights include: Billy Bob's Concert Hall, Hotel Drover and Joe T. Garcia's. Make sure to pick up a pair of Lucchese boots!

Historic Downtown Grapevine

Holley's Hometown. This walkable, preserved historic area is home to winery tasting rooms, the Grapevine Vintage Railroad, one-of-a-kind shops, live entertainment venues, restaurants, and art galleries.

Arlington - AT&T Stadium, Globe Life Field, Texas Live!

Arlington is home to two cutting-edge sports stadiums – AT&T Stadium and Globe Life Park – as well as the original Six Flags in the franchise, Six Flags Over Texas. Texas Live! is a vibrant entertainment center featuring a variety of restaurants, cocktail bars & giant sports TVs.
