Meet my handsome man, Michael! Michael grew up in Santa Barbara and although he does know the street names in SB, he could find you the perfect beach date, the best views and even better taco and sushi dinners. Mike as everyone calls him, can tear up the basketball court and shred Mammoth Mountain. Chef Mike makes a mean sauce for any dish you wish to serve but look out he will need the entire contents of your refrigerator and every mixing bowl in the kitchen, it's worth it! Michael recently agreed to take up dance lessons with me. He has been told by many professionals that his skills are competition worthy. This guy really knows how to cut a rug these days! Michael never ceases to amaze me with his calm and cool character. He is observant, thoughtful and inherently kind. His twinkly eyes and his heart melting smile are just the cherry on top of this perfect gentleman. Our gal Winnie (golden retriever) is absolutely smitten with her dad. Watching the two of them become best pals has been a heartwarming experience for the three of us. To know Michael is to love him and this became quite clear on our first date in his parents' backyard. They say when you know you know... There had never been a clearer moment in my life. I could not have dreamt up a better man to call my husband. I am over the moon for him!

Meet my gorgeous fiancé, Lauren! Lauren grew up in San Luis Obispo during her youth and moved around from Georgia to California then followed her mountainous dreams to Colorado for a few years. Lauren truly brightens every room she walks into and is often the life of the party. You can't miss her laugh or her voice, and she is sure to get you dancing whether it is in the kitchen, on the beach or on a dance floor. I love that she speaks her mind and has since our first date. Lauren is honest, even when you may not want to hear it. Lauren has always been an energizer bunny. Whether she was gliding across a stage in her toe shoes, attempting to "shuffle off to buffalo" or crushing some weightlifting goals, she is always go, go, go! She loves to hike, camp, and backpack. These were never top of my priority list but since she started calling me "Camp Guy" I guess I am into it now too! Being with Lauren means being taken out of your comfort zone. Blazing our own trails, canyoneering through Utah, following antelope until the sun goes down, daring me to sleep on the ground on our first camp trip and alas, I now eat broccoli. Lauren knows how to make people feel included, comfortable and season her veggies. Lauren and I have come full circle and somehow found each other once again. I could not be happier to find myself here with her after twelve years apart, I always knew there was something deeper between us. I am so excited to call her my wife!
