Things To Do

We’re so excited to share this area with you! It’s close to home for Holden’s family, and we’ve gathered some of our favorite spots to help you explore. If you’re traveling in, feel free to reach out, we love giving recommendations. Mid-September in Columbus is typically mild and comfortable, with highs around 75°F and cooler evenings near 55°F. It’s a beautiful time of year for photos, exploring the city, or enjoying the outdoors. The season also brings local favorites like Columbus Oktoberfest at the Ohio Expo Center and Cartoon Crossroads Columbus, a festival celebrating comics and animation. You’ll also find plenty of other fall happening, from neighborhood art walks and the Scioto Arts Market to pop-up food trucks and fashion week events.

If you're interested in visiting the place where we met (or just want to walk around an incredible small college town), check out Ohio University. Favorite spots include Donkey Coffee, Phoenix Nest Games (tabletop/board game store), and Bagel Street Deli (both of us worked here part time during college. If you look on the walls, you can find our names written in BIG chalk letters).
