Taylor and Ryan met on the dating app Hinge in early 2021. It took a little while for them to meet in person—Taylor was often traveling with friends—but Ryan stayed patient (and persistent), a quality Taylor would come to appreciate from the very beginning. Their first date was on March 31, 2021, originally planned at Craft Tasting Room in South End. Although Taylor isn’t much of a beer lover, she went along with the plan—at first. Arriving early (a rare occurrence), she realized the space was packed and made a last-minute decision to reroute the date to one of her favorite spots at the time: Seoul Food Meat Co. From there, everything felt easy. They shared kimchi fries and ramen mac and cheese, talked nonstop, and then headed to Slingshot for games—where Taylor, of course, won most of them. After that night, they saw each other every day for the next five days, and the rest is history. Now, they're excited to celebrate the next chapter of their story with all of you.
