Adam moved to St. Louis in 2010 after graduating from Purdue and beginning his career as a Landscape Architect. Originally from Indianapolis, he’s made St. Louis home ever since—thanks to a strong network of colleagues, close friends, and a chosen family that helped him settle into a new city. Among them was his college roommate and longtime friend (MK!), whose own St. Louis roots played a part in Adam’s early connection to the city. Jen grew up in central Wisconsin and, after studying Architecture and working in Milwaukee, decided to pursue graduate studies. She applied to programs across the country, and after visiting WashU, she fell in love with the program and the community.. and have you seen that campus!? Jen made the move to attend WashU for her M.Arch in 2017. What started as a temporary plan turned into something more - a great job opportunity and a network of new friends that became like family. St. Louis was not on the radar for either of us, and yet we found a life here.
We met in 2018 when Jen worked a summer internship at the firm where Adam worked. From the start, we shared respect for each other’s creativity, work ethic, and thoughtful approach to design. When Jen returned full-time, respect and friendship grew naturally. Over time, we discovered we shared more than just a passion for design. From Friday pizza nights, hiking or biking, and weekends for spontaneous adventures, we kept finding common ground. What started with shared ideas at work turned into an easy and steady connection—something neither of us had planned, but knew was something worth holding on to. We feel the pull of hidden threads and life milestones brought us to the same place. We continue to collaborate both in and out of the office, playing on the office softball team, occasionally working on the same projects for work, and seeking out new travels and experiences - including spending quality time with dear family and friends. We look forward to making memorable moments of a lifetime together! And we appreciate the support of many that have brought us to this moment.
