Our wedding will be "Tropical Semi-Formal" attire. Weather permitting, our ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors so light and brightly colored semi formal attire is highly encouraged, as are sunglasses! Gentlemen: suit or a dress shirt and slacks (tie and jacket optional) Ladies: gown, pantsuit, or dressy separates (stilettos not recommended)
Don't worry about a designated driver- we will handle that! A shuttle bus will run from the suggested hotels to and from the wedding venue. The wedding venue is a bit remote and is not located near the hotel area (about 45 mins away) and so we don't recommend driving yourself. Please keep that in mind if you book accommodations elsewhere. More details on the wedding day transportation being emailed directly soon!
Almost always, sunny and breezy! The Big Island of Hawaii actually has 8 out of the 13 climate zones making the landscape incredibly unique. In October, the temperature ranges from 70-80F (21-27C) but is mostly sunny with occasional and brief rainfall. Bring a light jacket for breezy cooler nights, or something a bit warmer if you plan to go to the top of Mauna Kea.
