Our Wedding Weekend

Hike to Makalawena Beach (Optional)

9:00 am - 3:00 pm

Swimsuits, Sturdy Shoes, Sunscreen

The Bride and Groom will be hiking to their favorite beach to kick off the wedding weekend! If you are in town, please join us. We are departing the Kings' Land Resort at 9am to head to the trail- feel free to message to meet up with us and follow along! A note on the hike: 4WD SUV vehicles are required. After exiting the highway, you must drive 1.5 miles (2.4km) on rough and occasionally unpaved road to get to the trailhead. The hike itself is then a 1 hour round trip over periodically rough terrain. However, the journey is absolutely worth the destination. Makalawena is a gorgeous secluded beach where we will spend the day swimming, having some beers and snacks, and resting before heading back! Please bring backpacks with plenty of water, snacks, and sunscreen as well as shoes for the hike (sneakers/trainers with a sturdy sole are fine)

Welcome Drinks (Optional)

4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Casual Poolside Attire: shorts or pants, short-sleeved button downs, maxi dresses, and sandals.

The bride and groom will be having a drink at the Pool Bar at Hilton Kings' Land Waikoloa. Stop by to say hi if you are in town! The bar is located just near the main lobby of the Hilton Kings' Land Waikoloa. Limited parking is available in the lot next to the Lobby but if you are a guest of the Hilton Kings' Land Waikoloa, or Hilton Waikoloa Village you can also take a complimentary shuttle.

Beach Day at Hapuna (Optional)

9:00 am - 1:00 pm

Beach Attire: Swimsuits, Flip Flops, Towels, Sunscreen!

Come join the bride and groom for a relaxing beach day before their big day. Hapuna was ranked as the #1 beach in the United States in 2021. Please note: Hapuna Beach is a State Park and therefore charges $10 per day for parking and $5 per person for entrance to the beach. We recommend coming early to find good parking. BYO beach snacks, towels, etc.

Wedding Ceremony and Reception

4:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Dress code: Tropical semi-formal. Think bright, colorful, and suited to the hawaiian weather. Our wedding venue is outdoors and the ceremony will be held on the lawn. Sunglasses are recommended, but stiletto heels are not!

Shuttles will be departing starting at 2:45pm. Please reference the email for more information on what shuttle you are on and your pick-up times! If you have any issues with the shuttle you can reach out to your designated shuttle captain. (Contact details available on schedule sent by email)
