Groom
After patiently waiting for his perfect match, fate stepped in four years ago when Glen met Jessica—and his heart’s been soaring ever since. A true adventurer, Glen has a passion for boating and recently fell in love with ocean fishing. He and Jessica instantly bonded over their shared love of excitement and exploration. When he’s not saving lives from a helicopter as a paramedic, Glen’s living the cozy life—snuggled up with cats (often in his favorite recliner that Jessica lovingly tolerates!) and being a phenomenal mentor to Jessica’s amazing kids, Kieran and Kelia. Talk about a catch!
Bride
Jessica, the bride, had her heart set on finding not just a good man—but a great one. Someone who could be her partner-in-crime and a rock-solid role model for her kids. She dreamed of an animal lover with a heart of gold—and then along came Glen, checking every box and then some! When Jessica’s not busy working her magic at the scene of a crime, she’s probably daydreaming about her next getaway. Jessica’s all about adventure, with a vacation always on the horizon and a suitcase never too far from reach. She’s a true Jack-of-all-trades, with her favorite hobby being building custom catios (yes, cat patios!) for kitties to live their best lives. She can also be found crushing it at the gym before sunrise with her morning crew. If there’s fun to be had or a project to tackle, Jessica’s already on it!
Mother of the Bride
Susan and Jessica first crossed paths when Jessica was just 18, navigating life on her own while attending San Diego State and diving into the Oceanside Longboard Surfing Club. From the start, they connected deeply—brought together by a shared love of surfing, animals, and meaningful conversation, undeterred by the years between them. Over time, their friendship blossomed into something truly special. They’ve chased waves and fresh powder together, supported one another through life’s highs and lows, and built a bond that has grown into more than friendship—it’s become a mother-daughter connection rooted in love, trust, and mutual respect. That’s why, with immense pride and gratitude, Jessica has chosen Susan to walk her down the aisle and give her away—a beautiful reflection of the journey they’ve shared and the family they’ve become.
Bridesmaid
Kelia is the bride’s one and only beautiful daughter, and at just 16, she’s already wise beyond her years. With brains, beauty, and serious ski skills, she’s the total package! Jessica couldn’t be prouder of the amazing young woman Kelia is becoming and feels incredibly honored to have her by her side on this special day. Kelia will be making her graceful walk down the aisle on the arm of her big brother, Kieran—her role model and partner in sibling shenanigans. It’s a moment that’s sure to melt hearts...especially her mom's!
Bridesmaid
Eliza has been Kieran’s wonderful girlfriend for nearly three years, and she’s become a cherished part of the family. With her kind heart, love for animals, and passion for working with children, she brings warmth and joy wherever she goes. She’s a loving partner to Kieran and a special person to Jessica, which makes having her as a bridesmaid on this special day all the more meaningful. Jessica couldn’t be happier to have Eliza by her side as they celebrate love, laughter, and a whole lot of dancing!
Bridesmaid
The OG Jess in the bride’s life holds a truly special place in her heart. These two first met in 6th grade in Oceanside, and while life took them in different directions (literally—Jess moved away), fate and social media brought them back together as adults. And just like that, they picked up right where they left off—because real friendship doesn’t skip a beat. Their bond is the kind that feels like home: full of support, laughter, and unconditional love through parenting, work, and all of life’s twists. Jess is always down to plan a party and is the mastermind behind what’s sure to be an epic dessert display at the after-party.
Bridesmaid
Audri and Jessica’s friendship began with a sandy handshake and an awkward COVID hug at San Onofre State Beach on Christmas Day 2020—and the spark was instant! From that moment on, they’ve shared endless laughs, deep conversations, and a mutual love for surfing that runs as deep as the ocean. Audri is a truly special person in Jessica’s life. Bonded by motherhood and life’s wild ride, these two are more than friends—they’re sisters from another mister. With retirement dreams that include globetrotting adventures, you can bet they’ll be catching waves and flights for years to come!
Bridesmaid
Shannon and Jess have been partners in crime (the legal kind!) since 2007, across not one but two police departments. Their friendship is built on sarcasm, grammar corrections, race medals, and a whole lot of laughter. From parenting stories to unforgettable moments, they’ve been through it all—and their bond just keeps getting stronger. Jess affectionately calls Shannon “The Vault”—because anything said to her is locked up tighter than department secrets. If you need loyalty, laughs, and someone who’ll always have your back, Shannon’s your girl. She's the definition of a true ride-or-die!
Bridesmaid
Jess and Jess first crossed paths in German class at their high school in Los Altos, CA. It was the bride’s first year at the school, having just moved before the start of 11th grade, and their shared name was the perfect icebreaker. From classmates to lifelong friends, they’ve journeyed through every stage of life together—even becoming moms on the same day, just five hours apart! Though miles may separate them now, their friendship remains strong, constant, and full of love. Their sons share a special bond as well and have been lifelong friends.
Bridesmaid
Jessica and Nicole first crossed paths in the surf club scene—Jess repping the Doheny Longboard Surfing Association and Nicole holding it down with the San Diego Surf Ladies. They’ve competed in the same age group, but their friendship goes way beyond the waves. Bonded by sarcastic text banter, camping adventures, and a shared love of dogs and the great outdoors, these two are a dynamic duo both in and out of the water. Nicole is the kind of friend who brings the fun, keeps it real, and shows up with unwavering loyalty.
Bridesmaid
Jessica and Kim first met somewhere around 2015 or 2016 in the surf club scene, catching waves and competing in the same age division—but their friendship quickly went beyond the shoreline. Their daughters, Kylie and Kelia, also bonded over surfing, making it a full-on family affair. Over the years, Jess and Kim have racked up memories through surfing, camping, boating, and most recently—line dancing (because why not?). They connected over motherhood, the ocean, and a shared sense of humor. Kim is hilarious. Jess loves hilarious. She's a keeper!
Bridesmaid
Christy and Jessica’s friendship kicked off as neighbors first and friends soon after! It all started with some casual curbside admiration of each other’s home renovations like HGTV fans (a little friendly remodel envy never hurt anyone). Christy, always out walking her dogs, passed by Jessica’s house regularly, unknowingly strolling past her future gym buddy. Eventually, they met, started running together, and now they’re working out at the same gym. The more they hung out, the closer they became. Jessica loves Christy’s thoughtful heart, playful spirit, and the fun energy she brings to every moment. And Christy? She’s been a rock-solid friend to Jessica and Glen—always supportive, always neighborly, and always awesome.
Mother of the Groom
Patty is the proud mother of the groom and an absolute gem of a human being. She deserves a medal—and maybe a spa day—for putting up with Glen all these years (honestly, she should have way more gray hair by now). With a heart as big as her smile, Patty is the kind of woman who lifts everyone around her. She's loving, generous, endlessly positive, and the kind of mom who makes you feel like you can conquer the world. And in a beautiful twist of tradition, Patty will be the one walking the groom, her one and only son, down the aisle to the altar. This will be a very special moment for both of them.
Groomsman
Kieran is the bride’s firstborn and her one-and-only son, and at 23, he’s already making big moves! As an EMT with AMR, he’s following in Glen’s footsteps and gearing up for paramedic school soon. Jessica couldn’t be prouder of the driven, compassionate man he’s become. He’s a loving boyfriend to Eliza, a proud cat dad to two furry felines, and recently added a playful puppy to the mix. Kieran’s also an amazing big brother to Kelia and having him stand at the altar beside Jessica and Glen is a moment packed with love and meaning.
Groomsman
Curt and Glen were two adventurous kids growing up in the tiny town of Alturas, California. Their friendship sparked around 1979 when they discovered they lived just down the street from each other—and shared a love for all things awesome. From tearing up the sidewalks on their bikes and skateboards to epic G.I. Joe battles and legendary Dungeons & Dragons quests, these two were inseparable. They even hit home runs together in little league, with Curt’s dad calling the shots as coach. Their bond only grew stronger through years of camping trips, deer hunting escapades, and fishing adventures. Eventually, they both spread their wings and left their small-town roots behind, swapping mountain trails for ocean waves as they dove into the world of surfing. Even though miles now separate them, Curt and Glen have kept their friendship alive and well—chatting on the phone regularly like no time has passed at all.
Groomsman
Bradley is Glen’s first cousin on his mother’s side, and together they share a special tradition: trips to Disneyland. But while Bradley is all about the magic, characters, and Disney nostalgia, Glen’s priorities are a little different—he’s there for the churros, the popcorn, and every snack in between. Despite their different reasons for going, their shared adventures in the happiest place on Earth have become a cherished part of their bond. They also share a special bond through cherished memories of Glen’s incredible late uncle, Jim—who was not only Bradley’s father but also a beloved presence in both of their lives.
Groomsman
Joe and Glen have been thick as thieves since 1995. They started as roommates and somewhere along the way, they decided that land was overrated and bought a sailboat in Santa Barbara. Not a sleek yacht, mind you—this was a bona fide P.O.S., perfect for drinking cheap beer and pretending to be pirates. A year (and many hangovers) later, they figured, “Hey, maybe we should actually learn how to sail this thing.” So they took lessons, got their sea legs, and before long, they were navigating the turquoise waters of the Virgin Islands and the sun-drenched coast of Mexico like pros. Their friendship has weathered more than just tropical storms. From wild adventures to quiet milestones, they’ve been through every stage of life together. One of the proudest moments? Glen standing tall in Washington, D.C., watching Joe graduate from the Fairfax County Fire Department academy—proof that even pirates can grow up (a little).
Groomsman
PJ and Glen’s friendship kicked off back in 1992 in the small town of Castaic, where PJ happened to be Glen’s Uncle Jim’s boss at the local Domino’s Pizza. What started as a casual introduction quickly turned into a lifelong bond. They connected instantly over their shared love of the outdoors—deer hunting, fishing, and just about anything that involved fresh air and a little adventure. Through the years, their friendship has only grown stronger, and to this day, they remain the best of friends, proving that great connections can start in the most unexpected places… like a pizza shop.
Groomsman
Tony and Glen first met in 1995 while working for AMR as EMTs. At the time, Tony was Glen’s trainee—but it didn’t take long for them to realize they were cut from the same cloth. With matching personalities and a shared love for fun, they clicked instantly. Their friendship quickly deepened, eventually leading to them becoming roommates. Through the years and all of life’s twists and turns, they’ve stayed close, always keeping in touch and supporting one another.
Groomsman
Alex and Glen are cousins who grew up side by side, spending every summer together at their grandparents’ home in Sylmar, CA. From the time they were in diapers until they graduated high school, those summers were filled with laughter, adventure, and a deep connection—not just with each other, but with their beloved grandparents. Their bond, rooted in family and shared memories, only grew stronger over the years. Inspired by a common passion and sense of purpose, both Alex and Glen went on to pursue their dreams of becoming firefighters—turning childhood companionship into a lifelong brotherhood in service.
Groomsman
Glen met Jose in 2011 on his very first surf trip to Costa Rica. He had rented a boat to explore the legendary waves at Witches Rock, with Jose as his guide. What started as a simple business arrangement quickly turned into something much more meaningful. Year after year, Glen returned to Costa Rica, always booking his surf trips with Jose. With each visit, their connection deepened—from shared waves to shared stories, their friendship grew into a brotherhood. In 2018, that bond took on a new dimension when Jose invited Glen to join the surf business he had been running. Together they launched Witches Rock Surf n' Fish (WRSF) after a year of searching for the perfect boat, "Big Blue," blending their passion for surfing with a shared vision. Today, Glen and Jose are more than friends and business partners—they’re family, united by the ocean, adventure, and a dream they’ve built together.
Groomsman
Glen and Chad first connected through a mutual friend back around 2014. With Chad working in the medical field, they quickly found common ground in their shared interest in medicine. On top of that, Chad’s love for surfing added another layer to their friendship—they’ve hit the waves together and even traveled to Costa Rica for some surf and adventure.
Best Dog and Ring Bearer
Gnarly joined the crew during a big life chapter—right after Jess moved back to California from Puerto Rico as a single mom with her two kids in tow. His timing couldn’t have been more perfect, and for the past nine years, he’s been the family’s rock, snuggle buddy, and four-legged therapist. He’s been a loyal and loving companion to all three of them—and now to Glen, too. Gnarly’s convinced he’s part cat, and with three of his nine lives already used up (surviving bouncing off a tire of a truck while crossing the street, a coyote attack with 12 wounds, and a cancerous tumor), he’s basically a furry superhero. So naturally, the family agrees there’s only one pup fit for the job of ring bearer. Keep an eye out for him strutting down the aisle in his custom doggy tux—because this good boy is ready for his moment!
Officiant
Bobby and Jess go way back—like, 2003 back—when Jess was a fresh-faced trainee at the Oceanside Police Department. She laughed at all his jokes (even the questionable ones). Fast forward to today, and they’re still working together—this time at MiraCosta Police Department, with Bobby now as her boss! Over the years, Bobby has become a trusted mentor and close friend, even encouraging Jess to chase her master’s degree. And when Glen entered the picture, Bobby was all ears—especially when he realized they are both Raiders fans and obsessed with ocean fishing. So, when it came time to choose someone to officiate the wedding, Bobby was the obvious choice. Jess and Glen are beyond honored to have him lead this special moment. Just a heads-up—bring tissues. This sentimental guy might just shed a tear or two and that can be contagious!
Wedding Coordinator
Carrie and Jessica’s friendship was born at MiraCosta College—Carrie holding it down in the facilities department, and Jessica keeping things safe in the police department. Their departments have a playful rivalry that includes everything from volleyball and cornhole showdowns to Halloween costume contests and door-decorating battles. With each event, Carrie and Jess grew closer, eventually teaming up as the creative masterminds behind most campus festivities. So, when it came time to plan the biggest event of Jessica’s life—her wedding—there was no question who’d be in charge. Carrie’s got the skills, the vision, and the flair to make this day unforgettable for the bride, groom, and every lucky guest. PLEASE CONTACT CARRIE IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS OR CONCERNS ON THE DAY OF THE WEDDING. 760-522-0862
