Things To Do

The Horseshoe

1515 S Mint St, #B, Charlotte, NC 28203

SATURDAY is the Michigan vs. Michigan State football game, so please pack your fan gear and join us to watch the game! (Go Green!!!) game time has yet to be released yet, but we will be meeting here. If you would like to stay in Charlotte Saturday night, there is a Holiday Inn Express on S Tryon St that is a 10 minute walk from this bar.

U.S. National Whitewater Center

5000 Whitewater Center Parkway, Charlotte, NC 28214

This is where the US Olympics White Water Rafting team practices. During the time you will be in town for our wedding, they offer ropes courses, zip lining, rock climbing, and trails for biking or walking. If you are in Charlotte again, they do have white water rafting we can participate in that is SO fun! Unfortunately, it is closed in October.

Bank of America Stadium

800 South Mint Street, Charlotte, NC 28202

If you are staying until Sunday, check out the football schedule, there may be a Carolina Panthers game going on, which also means lots of tailgating and fun around the stadium as well!

The Funny Bus- Charlotte

704-659-3186

We did this with some friends one year, and had the absolute BEST time! It is a BYOB, bus ride through Charlotte with a comedian as your tour guide. They are absolutely HILARIOUS, while also being very educational in the history that Charlotte has to offer!

Carowinds

14523 Carowinds Blvd, Charlotte, NC 28273

If you like roller coasters, you are in for a treat! This is actually a place Tyler used to work while he was in college! Enjoy the rides and fun, while also looking just over the border into South Carolina!

NASCAR Hall of Fame

400 East Martin Luther King Junior Boulevard, Charlotte, NC 28202

We all know North Carolina is the home of NASCAR and Uptown Charlotte is where the Hall of Fame stands tall!

Spectrum Center

333 East Trade Street, Charlotte, NC 28202

If you are staying in town for a long weekend and would like to go to a concert Warren Zeiders (who Tyler and I love and who is AMAZING live), Alexandra Kay and Jelly Roll will be performing on Sunday night (Oct 27)!

Optimist Hall

1115 North Brevard Street, Charlotte, NC 28206

This is the "food court" among food courts. Get a drink and walk around before you order your food, there are so many different options!

Hoppin' Charlotte

1402 Winnifred Street, Charlotte, NC 28203

Self pour all you want! When you walking they swipe your credit card, give you a wrist band and set you free. There are 62 self serve taps of beer, wine, and seltzers, where you tap your wristband and pour as much of the drink as you want! At the end, you just pay for the ounces poured connected to your wristband. For a beer and wine flight girl like me, this is the best! You can taste a sip and move on if you hate it! So awesome!

Legion Brewing South Park

5610 Carnegie Boulevard, Charlotte, NC 28209

When you come to the wedding, we will be serving Tyler's favorite beer Juicy Jay which is made by Legion Brewing Company. They serve this tasty beer and many more!

Cajun Queen

1800 East 7th Street, Charlotte, NC 28204

Best cajun food in Charlotte! My dad lived in Louisiana for quite a few years, and he LOVED this place just as much as Tyler and I do!

Mama Ricotta's

601 South Kings Drive, Charlotte, NC 28204

If you want Italian, we got ITALIAN! This place has the best Italian we have been able to find in Charlotte! YUM!

Seoul Food Meat Company Mill District

421 East 26th Street, Charlotte, NC 28205

Tyler claims they are the best wings he's ever had! They are a Korean based food place with their own spin on french fries! Kimchi fries!
