Things To Do

While you're here, below are a few of our favorite spots around the city! Text either of us if you want any more recommendations - Philly has so much to offer!

Charlie was a sinner.

131 South 13th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19107
, (267) 758-5372

We had our first date here! Great spot for craft cocktails and plant-based bites to eat in a cozy space. Despite the name, our dog Charlie is a good boy (sometimes)!

Reading Terminal Market

1136 Arch Street, Philadelphia, PA 19107

A combination of a food hall and a farmer's market! Some Philly favorites include Beiler's Doughnuts, DiNic's Roast Pork, Termini Brothers Bakery, and Bassets Ice Cream. A must see in Philadelphia!

Time

1315 Sansom Street, Philadelphia, PA 19107
, (215) 985-4800

Grab a drink in the whiskey room and head over to the live music area to where you can hear jazz bands play!

Winkel

1119 Locust Street, Philadelphia, PA 19107
, (267) 639-3453

One of our favorite spots for brunch in the area! Dutch-inspired menu with a lot of classics like chicken and waffles, pancakes, and omelets.

The Dandelion

124 South 18th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103
, (215) 558-2500

Cozy, British-style gastropub. Great for brunch, dinner, or drinks during happy hour!

Giorgio On Pine

1328 Pine Street, Philadelphia, PA 19107
, (215) 545-6265

Our favorite Italian BYOB! We highly suggest that you make a reservation in advance if you want to dine here.

Double Knot

120 South 13th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19107
, (215) 631-3868

Japanese restaurant serving some of Philly's best sushi and meat skewers. If that's not your scene, 13th Street is home to a wide range of restaurants that fit any style - check out El Vez or Barbuzzo!

Other Half Brewing

1002 Canal Street, Philadelphia, PA 19123
, (215) 497-0640

One of our favorite breweries with delicious IPAs and bar bites. Not too far from the wedding venue - grab a beer before the wedding!

Christmas Village

Love Park and Dilworth Park,

Christmas in Philly is beautiful! There are two Christmas markets near City Hall with an array of local vendors and foods in a German-style setting. There is also ice skating and a light show displayed on City Hall every evening. Short walk from the hotels!

Miracle on 13th Street

1700 South 13th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19148

South Philly puts on a local display of Christmas lights and decorations. This will be a drive to get to but it's worth it! This street is about five blocks from our home down in Point Breeze. There's tons of food and drink options around the corner on Passyunk Ave while you're down there!

Walnut Street Shopping

Walnut Street, Philadelphia, PA

Between Broad Street and 18th Street, there are a number of stores to do some shopping and spend the afternoon. Rittenhouse Square is right around the corner and will have holiday lights and decorations for the season!

History in Philadelphia

Philadelphia, PA

There is so much history and culture in Philadelphia! Some tops spots to see include Independence Hall, The Liberty Bell, Elfreth's Alley, The Betsy Ross House, Love Park, The Philadelphia Museum of Art (plus the Rocky Statue), and much more!
