The wedding takes place on April 25th, 2026. The ceremony will begin promptly at 6:00pm.
Both the ceremony and reception are taking place at Norfolk Botanical Gardens!
There will be trams taking guests from the entrance of the garden to the ceremony space that run at 5:15pm, 5:30pm and 5:45pm. We recommend getting to the venue at least 30 minutes prior to the ceremony starting, that way you have time to do any last minute things you need to do, like use the restroom, as well as make it to the ceremony on time. Norfolk Botanical Gardens is a large property and it is not a quick feat to walk from the entrance to the ceremony place!
The ceremony takes place from 6:00pm to 6:30pm, the cocktail hour is from 6:30pm to 7:30pm, and the reception is from 7:30pm to 11:30pm.
Yes, there will be an hour long Cocktail Hour between the two.
We kindly ask guests to arrange their own transportation to and from the wedding events. Parking will be available at the venue, and guests are welcome to use rideshare services such as Uber or Lyft, taxis, hotel shuttles where available, or even communicating with other guests to share rides!
Yes, there is free parking for guests who are driving in.
We’re so excited to celebrate with our closest family and friends! Due to space and budget, we’re only able to accommodate guests who are listed on the invitation. If your invitation includes a plus one, it will be noted by name or as "and guest." We appreciate your understanding!
While we do love everyone's little ones, we will be having a wedding that is child-free, with the exception of Daisy, who will be the Flower Girl in the ceremony.
The ceremony, cocktail hour and reception are all outdoors. The reception area will have some indoor space, and bathrooms will be available nearby for all three events.
Yes! We would love for everyone attending to wear formal attire. Please reach out to the bride or groom for clarification if you need it!
The ceremony and cocktail hour will both be taking place on grass; stilettos are not recommended due to this, however, block heels would work great! Keep in mind, there will be a lot of dancing, so maybe bring back-up shoes!
The wedding party will be dressed in Spring theme—floral, pastel, light colors. We would be very grateful if you could dress in this theme! We just ask that you make sure your attire does not include too much white!
It is going to be like a classic spring to early-summer transition. Nighttime temperatures will be around 50 to 60 degrees Fahrenheit, while during the day it can get around 70 degrees.
We are having American food with springtime and Southern influences.
Of course! If you are vegan or vegetarian, we will just ask that you let us know when you RSVP and we will have a diet-friendly option for you! Our menu is (mostly) gluten-free and corn-free (with the exception of vegan/vegetarian meals). We do have one appetizer that contains nuts and the salad will have nuts on the side. Don't hesitate to let us know if we missed any allergies or dietary restrictions!
It is an open bar! We will be serving beer and wine, along with several signature cocktails! We will ask, though, that guests do not get too intoxicated, as this is our special day and want it to go as smooth as possible!
Your presence is the greatest gift we could ask for! That being said, if you’d like to contribute something, we’ve put together a registry, on this site, with a few things we’d love as we start our life together.
You can find our registry on this website!
We have hired a professional photographer to capture all of the wonderful moments for this special day, so we would greatly appreciate for people to live in the moment and not take photos during the ceremony. However, you are welcome to take all of the photos you'd like to at the reception! We will have a film camera and a camcorder available for guests to pass around and take photos and video clips on, that way we can remember everything we may not have noticed!
Yes, check out the 'Travel' tab for more information!
Yes! You can see a few of the recommended attractions on the "Things To Do" tab of this website!
Yes! After the formal rehearsal dinner the evening before the wedding, Danielle and Ryan will be extending an invitation for all other guests to join them at [INSERT LOCATION] to join in on the fun! Danielle and Ryan are also still in the works of planning an after party. Keeping checking back for more information!
Please RSVP as soon as possible! By doing so, you will make Danielle and Ryan's planning just that much easier. The RSVP deadline is March 7th, 2026; if you RSVP after this date has passed, we unfortunately will not be able to accommodate you. We want to make sure you're there to celebrate with us!
You are able to change your RSVP at anytime after you have made it, as long as it is before the RSVP deadline.
Things happen, and we understand. We just ask that you let us know as soon as you know, as there is a cost to us per person.
Please don't hesitate to reach out to the bride or groom! We would love to help out in any way we can and answer any questions you still have.
