How We Met

It all started on a softball field — because apparently nothing says romance quite like a beer league team made up of pilots and occupational therapists. Between the highly competitive energy, occasional chaos, and a few very questionable athletic moments, that team somehow turned into a three-cohort legacy… and the unexpected beginning of our love story. From our very first date playing mini golf at the local KOA, it was obvious there was something special between us. Between laughing way too hard, a little friendly competition, and talking for hours, we quickly realized how easy it felt to just be together. To this day, we both still claim that we were the better mini golfer that night — the bride says she won fair and square, while the groom insists he was simply trying to coach her the entire time. Off the field, things only got more adventurous. We traded softball games for hiking trails, rafting trips (where staying in the boat counted as a success), rodeos, PBR nights, and just about any excuse to spend time outdoors with friends and family. Somewhere between all the chaos, adventures, and laughter, we found something steady and real. Turns out, the best thing to come from that softball team had nothing to do with the scoreboard — and everything to do with finding a forever teammate.
