Wedding Party

Lauren Ross

Maid of Honor

From day one Lauren and I (Ownie and Doodle) were inseparable growing up across the street from each other. We spent our summer days cruising around Bluff Ct. in Barbie cars, setting up traps for the local neighborhood vampires, and playing spies - all rarely clothed mind you. In high school she was the Seth to my Evan. We tried all our firsts together and giggled about it later on the living room floor in sleeping bags. Lauren reveled in protecting me from my bullies - probably a little too much - and to this day I don’t think there's any other person I'd call to help me bury a body. Lauren and her sister Christina continue to be my sisters today, guiding me through all important life styling decisions. Even sticking with me through my weird silk shirt phase in the third grade.

Madelyn Lombard

Bridesmaid

Fellow craft addicts and performance artists at Marta’s and Nancyland, Madelyn and I also met in our diaper days thanks to our moms, Margie and Lynnie. While Mady was captain of our softball team, student body president, or the shark pitching our college marketing plans - I was just honored to be part of her mafia. She has ALWAYS inspired me to keep up with her and to this day still does. Through wild Chico nights to rough SF days working as young (cough broke cough) professionals, we've never stopped supporting one another. Fuffy and Kiki forever.

Cybil Bryant

Bridesmaid

When Cybil and I locked eyes in kindergarten we knew we had found the right person to help ignite our rebellious flames burning within. We rarely got away with things but dammit we sure had fun trying. Labanita and Roule - obsessed with all things art, horses, and hookah which I'm sure made us seem "weird" to a lot of outsiders. BUT, I wouldn’t trade that weird bond for the world. Cybil has always been strong, mentally and physically, which she proved defending me in a heated pillow fight on a family vacation. First and only time my brother Danny has ever walked away from an argument with me. Love you Scribby!

Gina Meredith

Bridesmaid

I can still hear Bill Withers "Use Me Up" playing in the background when I approached Gina at a Creekside party our second year of college and asked to see her playlist. Very smooth by the way. My Dingy, by far my deepest love I was blessed to leave Chico state with. My sarcastic and ironic co-comedian in this crazy little thing we call life - ayyyyye. I know G and I share the same excitement over off road adventures, a juke box at a good dive bar, or on the rare occasion a Saldinos delivery truck. Our voices and nicknames for one another often creep people out but I've had my happiest moments in that strange little bubble of ours. My minehva, my mami.

Michaela Buschow

Bridesmaid

Michaela, my Shae Shae. A fellow hopeless romantic and lover of all things Latin like myself. Always the friend to make others feel so nurtured and loved, an inspiration for future Mom goals to say the least. Michaela and I met in high school where we bonded in student government class, as Orange Grove neighbors, and over our shared love for the Pacific Northwest (yes that includes Twilight!) Today we stay in touch by sending each other Terry Cruz dance clips, FaceTiming in fast food drive throughs, or envisioning our next Spandex inspired choreographed dance routine. Thanks for all the laughs Miss B.

Erin McDonough

Bridesmaid

Erin taught me to not care what others think. A lesson I learned fast when she lifted up my skirt in a crowded hallway freshman year of high school. We both ran a mean market for gourmet lunches and after school snacks which Lauren often just stole. And while we probably terrorized too many teachers and really pushed the limit with Pearl her beloved Saturn, we laughed so hard it didn’t matter. From party in the dirt to Chico State we were experts in making a fast exit. All the more time to cruise in a pedi cab, stop to BUY Frankies pizza, or make fluffernut sandwiches at home. So goofay, yet so caring. Just love my little nargle bean.

Paolo Ferretti

Best Man

Paul aka Nicki aka PLO FRESH aka the original Chaining Tatum… the names go on and on. Safe to say that many of us would not be the men we are today without the steady peer pressure and unwavering attention of Paolo Ferretti. We have been powerlifting training partners, flash card study buddies, dance floor performers, and while nobody understands our jokes, we are pretty damn funny. I appreciate him forgiving my inability to take countless shots of Smirnoff and sleepwalking throughout the apartment after long party nights. Paolo’s love for terrible scary movies is unmatched, and although I don’t bench 400, squat 500, and deadlift 600 consistently, he still finds it in his heart to remain my friend and Financial Planner.

Daniel Oshima

Groomsman

Affectionately known as Oshi (amongst many other names), Dan took a chance post college and moved across the country to live with two Toms, one he had known and the other not so much. Soon a deep friendship cemented itself over a shared love for FIFA, arriving at parties with a well organized fruit plate, dancing, cooking, and just generally saying yes to new adventures. There is nothing this man can’t do and he still continues to amaze me with his many talents. I’ll never go to Vegas without him, and no party or group of people has ever been the same after we left. GANBARE HONU!

Mike Kehrig

Groomsman

While we were always opponents (being that we were the only ones who could guard each other in any sport and being on the same team never seemed fair), we could not be any more alike. In a friendship dating back to 2nd grade, Mike always had the flash, pizazz, and skill that I admired. A personality that could get anyone to follow him (or buy a house from him.. Which you should #TheKehrigTeam), and a shared love for the darkness and despair that is being a Raider fan all our lives, nobody appreciates my Dad jokes as much as Mike. A salesman to be reckoned with, I will never forget when he sold me a burned copy of Dr Dre 2001 for $20 (a $12 value at the time) because my Dad wouldn’t let me have a parental advisory CD. Still one of the better purchases I made to this day.

Tom Cox

Groomsman

“Wait you are both named Tom?”. I will never get tired of that response in new introductions. Rare to say you have known someone almost all your life AND they have the same name as you. We spent many summers battling in FIFA, Dabble competitions in the Cox pool, driving the Audi with Illmatic blasting, and unfortunately drinking Amp mixed with Vodka (still sick from it). A consummate competitor, I learned the hard way that if Mike and Tom asked you to check out a game that “they’ve never tried or done before”, then you for sure were in for a rude awakening when they in fact had played that game many times and were preparing to rout you #Halo. The only man from Harvard with a Harvard ring and a super sick dirty whet Cristiano haircut, he’s been my second family and I’ve been his bodyguard.

Brendan Flannery

Groomsman

We bonded over movie quotes and football practice, and I am one of the few people who remember that Brendan used to be a center albeit one of the smallest centers De La has ever seen. Although our coaches thought Brendan and Cody were the same person, he is certainly one of a kind and probably one of the funniest friends I have. Life wouldn’t be as GWEIRD without Flannerich and McDonald’s drive thrus have never been the same. HEEEEYYYYY PEANUT BUDDA CUP will go down as one of the greatest mixtapes ever made because “they say we’re crazy when the sun goes down”.

Cody Meyerhoff

Groomsman

Stories and relationships diagrammed with crayon over paper placemats, snakebites, and burgers at Ed’s Mudville Grill result in traditions I hope never die. Whether it was commitment cards that we kept in our wallets for years, epic parties we threw break after break, or belly laughs from all the pranks we played on Brendan, we are a force when we combine our powers together (including his ability to photoshop Brendan into a whole album of pictures that Brendan took of us without him noticing). While Tom has his Harvard ring, Cody has his Escalade and all of the accompanying paraphernalia Cadillac will sell him. You were the only one to support my white prom suit, and my partner in crime taking down an 8x8 at In-N-Out… twice.

Emma & Marshall Gerry

Flower Girl & Ring Bearer

(written by Emma and Marshall's mom, Christina Gerry - sister of MOH) As the first kids to be born out of the Bluff Ct. crew Emma and Marshall are right on pace for following in our footsteps. Emma is beauty and brains, type A, stubborn, and doesn't put up with crap from anyone. I was pretty much blessed and cursed with a daughter just like my sister Lauren. Marshall is our good time party boy and can be found stealing your girlfriend. You will definitely find Marshall on the dance floor as he loves to bust a move!
