Yes! A delicious South Indian breakfast box will be waiting for you to enjoy as we wrap up the Thaalikettu celebrations. Please note that the Guruvayoorappan temple does not allow food to be eaten inside. Please enjoy it at your leisure whenever you feel comfortable outside the temple premises. Later in the day, during the Nepali wedding, a full lunch will be served around 2.15 PM, featuring a spread of flavours for everyone to enjoy. We hope you come hungry and savour the food, the laughter, and the special moments as we celebrate this joyous occasion together!
Yes! Both the Guruvayoorappan Temple and the Sindhi Gurmandir have ample parking spaces available near and around the premises. If you prefer public transit, both locations are also easily accessible. We want to make your journey to our celebration as smooth as possible and can’t wait to see you there!
Absolutely! Feel free to capture special moments with family, friends, and, of course, the bride and groom—we’d love to see your photos! Make sure to tag our wedding hashtag #Himalayalam if you plan on posting the pictures! However, please be mindful that both temples have clearly posted signage prohibiting photos of certain idols. We appreciate your understanding and respect for these guidelines.
There will be a break of about 2.5 to 3 hours between the two ceremonies. The first ceremony at the Guruvayoorappan Temple in Brampton will wrap up around 9:00 AM, and the Nepali wedding at the Sindhi Gurmandir will begin around 12:00 PM. In the meantime, you are welcome to join whichever group you’d like and enjoy the break at your leisure. The bride and groom will also be doing a quick photoshoot with family in their traditional outfits.
Your presence alone is the greatest gift we could ask for, and we truly mean that—there is absolutely no need for gifts. However, if you still feel the desire to bless us, we would humbly accept cash or cards. We kindly request no boxed gifts, as your company and love are all we truly need. Thank you for understanding, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you!
