For years, Alisha and Johnny lived parallel lives. They grew up in neighboring towns, played the same sports, shared the same friends, and likely breathed the same air at graduation. Yet, they never met. Clearly, the universe was waiting for the most chaotic moment possible to finally introduce them. Fast forward to 2022: Alisha is at a burlesque show—as one does—and wanders into The Beeline Cocktail Bar afterward. In a stroke of "he wasn't even supposed to be working tonight" luck, Johnny was behind the decks. Alisha’s squad picked the table right next to the DJ booth, Johnny finally looked up, and they both realized they’d wasted two decades looking for each other when they were probably at the same Taco Bell the whole time.
