What are the changes due to COVID-19?

Answer

Due to Covid-19, we had a small wedding on Nov 15th 2020 in a safe environment. We still want to celebrate with everyone so we are holding another ceremony (renewal) with a big reception to follow! This new date is Nov 21st 2021 at Mt. Woodson Castle in CA starting at 4pm PST

Will I have to wear a mask?

Answer

We do not know what the regulations will be for Nov 21st, but we will keep everyone informed when that date approaches. We are currently recommending everyone to have a mask and be vaccinated.

Where are the ceremony (renewal) and the reception taking place?

Answer

The event is taking place at Mt. Woodson Castle in Ramona, CA. Address is: 16302 N Woodson Dr, Ramona, CA 92065

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

Even if you sent us a RSVP last year, please update your RSVP please. The RSVP deadline for our renewal is October 15th 2021. Please RSVP online at the RSVP page of this site (Insert the first or last name of the Person of whom the invitation was addressed). If you have any issues, please contact the bride (Katie Beauvais) at hillswedding2020@gmail.com or at 619-908-1241.

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

If you cannot make it to our renewal on Nov 21st, 2021, you will be missed! Please let us know by October 2021 and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly. Otherwise I will have to be the one reaching out to you for your response.

We are registered in a few different areas but all are compiled in one spot on this website in the Registry section.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. If you are given a plus one, please fill in their information on the RSVP page. Thank You!

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

Suggest cocktail dresses, blouses or button shirts, slacks.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be outside. However, you are welcome to roam inside the Castle in designated areas and heaters will be available outside if needed.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive a half hour before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

Parking is free and can leave cars overnight if necessary. The parking lot is inside Mt. Woodson gated area, just right of the castle down the hill.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

We do encourage guests to take pictures for reception and post pictures on to their social media channels, our request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #davidtakesthekate2020 so we can view all of your pictures!

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony (the renewal) we will be immediately holding the reception at the same location, just in front of the Castle. Feel free to roam the grounds after the ceremony in the designated areas.

Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/special diet options?

Answer

Please let us know as soon as possible, by contacting the Bride (Katie Beauvais 619-908-1241) or by writing on the RSVP (online and written RSVP has section for this) so we can try to accommodate special diets.

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

No, stay where you want. There are plenty of options for hotels.

Is this a kid friendly wedding?

Answer

This is a kid friendly wedding. Please make sure to RSVP for your children so we can have a proper head count. We are planning on having activities and games for kids. There will also be a room specifically for kids and for mothers with newly born babies. For specific information, please reach out to the bride (contact info is further below).
