Grace and John’s story began long before either of them realized it. Growing up in Dallas, their paths crossed frequently in childhood as John was close friends (and often getting into trouble) with Grace’s older cousin. Years later, at her cousin’s wedding, fate decided to make itself known. With a confidence only love could inspire, John walked up to Grace’s parents and said, “I’m going to marry your daughter.” At the time, it was more of a bold declaration than a plan…but as it turns out, he was right. What started as a childhood acquaintance slowly blossomed into something far deeper. Their shared love for travel, family, and zeal for life gave them a natural ease, and over time that familiarity grew into love, laughter, and partnership. They are beyond grateful for every moment that brought them here and can’t wait to continue their story as husband and wife, alongside their one year old red fox lab, Bennett.
