How do I get to Martha's Vineyard?

You can travel to the Vineyard by plane or by boat. Check out our travel page for more information.

Is there transportation to and from the wedding?

Answer

Yes, there will be transportation provided from a central pickup up and drop-off point on Church Street in Edgartown. The shuttle will depart for the ceremony at 2:45 pm. We encourage everyone to use the transportation provided.

Answer

Yes, there will be transportation provided from a central pickup up and drop-off point on Church Street in Edgartown (next to the bus depot). The first shuttle will depart at 4:45 pm.

Can I bring a car?

Answer

Yes, but it is not necessary if you are staying in Edgartown. You must make a reservation on the Steamship Authority for your vehicle, either by phone or online. Please make a reservation well in advance because September is a busy time on the Vineyard.

What are my options for getting around the island?

Answer

If you don't have a car with you there are several taxi companies as well as Uber and Lyft. You can also rent a car, bike, or use the reliable bus service to get you around the Island.
