Can we stay at the venue?

Answer

Yes! Terra Nova Golf Resort had 40 rooms to choose from. Please call asap to reserve yours now. There are also hotels and airbnb locations in the area so please feel free to look into these as well.

Who should I contact with questions about the wedding?

Please feel free to contact Hillary with any questions. Don't bother asking Brian, we all know that even if he was told, he's forgotten by now!

What's the meet and greet?

Answer

The meet and greet the night before is a great opportunity for our friends and family from Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, and further to come together and get to know each other before the big day. This will be hosted at Terra Nova Golf Resort Friday, October 17th from 7pm-10pm. We will have some light snacks and BYOB drinks. This is a casual evening of snacks, drinks, and fun with friends! We hope to see you there!

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

We are only able to accommodate guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. Plus ones will be listed when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

While we adore your little ones, we cannot accommodate everyone. Only children of immediate family and bridal party members will be included at this time. We encourage you to use this evening as a date night! If you have concerns, please reach out to Hillary.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

We know October in Newfoundland can be unpredictable. Will it be sunny, rainy, snowy? Who knows?! The ceremony will occur outdoors, weather permitting. In the case of extreme weather, the ceremony will move to the interior dining room. The reception will be indoors.

When should we arrive?

Please arrive 15-30 minutes ahead of the ceremony start time to ensure we begin on time.

How and when to RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP by September 1st, 2025. Please use the wedding website to confirm your RSVP or connect with Hillary if you need help. If you are unable to attend, let us know via your RSVP, you'll be greatly missed!

Can I bring my own adult beverages?

Answer

Due to venue policy and regulations, guests are not allowed to bring their own beverages into the ceremony or reception. Beverages can be purchased from the bar once cocktail hour begins. That being said, if you are staying at the resort, you are allowed to keep beverages in your room.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We encourage all of our guests to dress in semi-formal attire for the event. It's always fun to dress up but we don't expect this to be a black tie affair. And obviously, maybe don't wear white if you don't want an accidental glass of red wine spilt on you ;)

Do you have a registry?

Answer

We are so happy to have you joining us for our wedding. As we are travelling for the wedding and won't have much room in our baggage, we are asking guests to refrain from bringing gifts. Your presence is the best gift possible! For those who still wish to contribute, we would love a few pennies to put in our pot for our honeymoon trip after tying the knot!
