you'll have to pay tolls as you travel through Ensenada's "Carretera Escenica" also tipping at restaurants and little trinkets you might want to purchase.

If you travel through Ensenada's "Tijuana-Ensenada Carretera Escenica " you'll come across a few Toll Booths. If they are open a payment is required. Note: it is possible that there are civilians asking for donations just outside of the toll booth where payment is not required to be let through

How do I purchase Mexican currency

Answer

Mexican Pesos can be purchased at your financial institution, currency exchange service centers, and airports. If you are crossing by car in Tijuana there is a booth at the San Ysidro exit (last exit before crossing) where you can conduct a currency exchange.

This is a gated community, you will be asked what brings you to Bajamar, Please say you are attending the Mota/Palomares Wedding to be let through the gates.
