*Note: this tour leaves from the Ermitano Expediciones office in Pucon. Canyoning, also known as river trekking or gorge descent, is an exciting adventure activity that takes place in the canyons of a river. You don’t need any previous experience — professional guides will teach you step by step how to descend safely. They go down first, set up the system, and you’ll descend secured with two ropes: one under your control and the other managed by the guide. During the activity, you’ll descend three natural waterfalls, between 9 and 12 meters high. Between each rappel, you’ll walk through native forest and along the river’s canyons, discovering the strength and beauty of volcanic landscapes. The experience in the river lasts about 2.5 hours. At the end of the route, our transport will be waiting with a snack and refreshing drinks. We'll grab dinner in Pucon after with anyone who is interested! The tour will include: Harness, helmet, carabiners Neoprene suit and socks
9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Join us for a relaxing day exploring the Pucon region! We will first head to the small town of Pucon, which borders Lake Villarica. From here, we will take a short boat ride on Lake Villarica, from which we can admire Villarica volcano, as well as the sorrounding mountains and town. Afterwards, we will do a tour of the city and stop at a craft fair, a favorite chilean pastime. We will then head to the Caburgua area, where we will have some free time to check out the beach at Caburgua Lake and stop at a restaurant for lunch. After lunch, we will go to "Ojos del Caburgua" and "Mirador de Peces". Ojos del Caburgua is a famous pool of crystalline blue waters, surrounded by waterfalls. Lastly, we'll head to "Mirador de Peces", here we'll be able to see their fishing operation, where they raise rainbow fish in a series of pools, as well as take a walk along the river and forests paths. We'll be back at the hotel with plenty of time before having a traditional chilean "once" together!

Expect natural textures, candlelight, artisanal local flavors, conversation and connection. Vegetarian, vegan & gluten-free options will be provided.
