Maid of Honor
A 30 minute phone interrogation led the bride to a best friend. Yes, she had a list of questions prepared from cleanliness to how much she partied when her apartment complex paired her with a random roommate. If it's not obvious, Christine passed with flying colors. Their friendship has remained strong and the bride not only considers her one of her best friends but also a sister and her MOH.
Best Man
Marshall is the younger brother of the groom. While Ben can no longer call Marshall his little brother due to his weight lifting hobby, he can still claim the title of best looking Johnson brother. They have been friends for their entire lives and are still close to this day. Ben is humbled that Marshall agreed to be his best man and be a part of this special time for Ben.
Bridesmaid
Stephanie and Claire both knew that they had an instant connection when they nailed down their subbing method on their indoor soccer team. Who would have known that their mutual love of soccer, and craft beer, would have led them to find their husbands. She didn't take on Stephanie's recommended name change to Claire Bear Corta but the bride forgave her and asked Claire to be a bridesmaid.
Groomsman
Ryan and Ben met in high school and have been best ever friends since. When they first met, Ryan was an awkward kid with a mullet who couldn't talk with the ladies. Now, after years of Ben's influence, he is happily married with a successful engineering career while sporting a buzz cut not too different from Ben's signature style. Coincidence? I think not.
Bridesmaid
A high school friend turned best friend. Mariah and the bride grew close over shots of Burnett's vodka and their late date nights eating wonton and egg drop soup at a Chinese restaurant off of Hillsborough Street. She is hoping that Babs will make an appearance at the wedding while Mariah is taking a break from mommy duty.
Groomsman
Rob and Ben met while attending NC State University and were roommates during most of that time. They quickly became friends but also developed a Johnson vs Johnston feud during their college years. Johnson finally proved superior which forced Rob to relocate to Wilmington after graduation. He has been temporarily allowed back to Raleigh to celebrate this special event.
Bridesmaid
A high school friend turned best friend and now bridesmaid. Allison and the bride have made so many memories over the years. A few of their favorites include taking classic selfies, seeing Allison's future husband, Derek Jeter, hit number 3,000 and Santacon. Allison can no longer proclaim that she is from New York now that she has moved back to North Carolina.
Groomsman
Himler and Ben met while living in off campus apartments during their time at NC State University. He was randomly assigned to fill the fourth bedroom and he quickly became a great friend and a key member of the 204. Himler has since relocated to Utah but agreed to be a groomsman on the condition that he only be referred to as "The Corporal".
