Go for a scenic walk, swing on the swings overlooking the river, or play a game of giant chess. Don't forget to keep an eye out for the spot where we got engaged!
Krohn Conservatory
The Krohn Conservatory was one of our first dates and we enjoyed it so much that we make a point of going back each year. There are close to 3500 species of plants from all over the world for you to explore at this art-deco style conservatory.
Nation Pendleton
Our first apartment together was just a few blocks away and this was our go to restaurant. You can't go wrong with any of the burgers or local beers! If you are a vegetarian or feeling adventurous, we would highly recommend the quesadilla style burger subbed with a black bean patty!
Pepp & Dolores
This cute little Italian eatery is located in Over-the-Rhine. Its one of our favorite spots for celebratory dinners. You can't go wrong with the housemade Ricotta + the Pesto Pasta!
Findlay Market
Check out the states oldest public market. Browse some of the finest vendors Cincinnati has to offer while witnessing the historic architecture of Over-the-Rhine. We have spent more weekends their then we can count, shopping and exploring all of the local eateries.
Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden
If you have an extra day to check out the zoo, we highly recommend it. It is always on yearly to-visit list. If an aquarium is more of your speed, check out the Newport Aquarium. It is right across the river and makes for a fun day as well.
