FAQs

Question

What are the COVID protocols?

Answer

Due to the fluid nature of this pandemic and to ensure the safety of all guests in attendance, especially the more vulnerable individuals, we are at this time asking for a negative COVID test within 48 hours prior to the event and we will be taking temperatures at the door. We understand that this may be inconvenient for some people and we're more than happy to direct you to testing site or vaccination center. For more information about finding a testing site near your location please see the following website: https://www.hhs.gov/coronavirus/community-based-testing-sites/index.html We appreciate you all so much and cannot wait to safely celebrate with everyone.

Question

When and where is the wedding?

Answer

The wedding date is September 25th, 2021. Both the ceremony and reception will take place at Hope's Way Gathering. The address is 4177 Amelia-Olive Branch Rd, Batavia, OH 45103.

Question

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

We will certainly miss your presence. Once formal invitations are sent, please RSVP "not attending" if you cannot make it. If you have already RSVP'd yes and something comes up, please let us know that you will not be attending as soon as possible.

Question

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

There is not a hotel block. We want to give our guests the option to choose where they stay in order to best accommodate them. Please see the travel section of our website for information on recommended lodging.

Question

Can I bring someone?

Answer

Unless a "Plus One" was included with your invitation, please refrain from bringing guests. We will be having a relatively small wedding and appreciate your understanding!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Unless specifically invited, we kindly request that children do not attend.

Question

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

The RSVP deadline is Saturday September 1st, 2021. We request that all wedding RSVPs are sent digitally via our wedding website. More specific instructions to follow on the formal invitations.

Question

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Guests are responsible for finding their own transportation to and from the venue.

Question

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

There is on site parking and it is free for all guests. Vehicles may be left at the venue overnight provided they are picked up by 12pm on Sunday.

Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal/cocktail attire is requested. Some examples are a suit and tie, a cocktail style dress, or a top and skirt/slacks combination. The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors and the reception will be indoors so please plan accordingly.

Question

Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?

Answer

We are happy to report that there will be an open bar including many local brews! We will also have you select one of three delicious food options on the RSVP. Stay tuned!

Question

Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/special diet options?

Answer

Yes, we will have vegan/vegetarian/gluten free options. For any other dietary concerns, please contact us.

Question

May I take a centerpiece/candle/flowers home as a souvenir?

Answer

Because we are renting some of our decor and centerpiece items, please refrain from taking any home unless given permission.

Question

Can I take photos?

Answer

We ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. We have two wonderful photographers, Rebecca and Tristan, who will be capturing our special moments so that you can sit back, relax, and enjoy the ceremony. Feel free to take photos at the reception, but please be cognizant of our photographers also trying to take photos. We will be happy to share our professional photos with you if you would like!

Question

Is there a social media prescence? Do you have a hashtag?

Answer

Yes! Please use #ForeverFraley whenever posting any wedding related content so we can keep track of all the lovely photos.

Question

Is smoking allowed?

Answer

The venue has a very strict policy against smoking and vaping inside the building. There is a designated smoking area in the back of the building next to the parking lot.

Question

Who can I contact with any additional questions?

Answer

You can contact either Benjamin or Chelsea with questions!
