Best is to bring Cash. You can pay with cash USD almost anywhere. Credit cards cannot be used widely after the economic crisis.
The best option is to use taxis. Car rental is possible as well. Public transportation is not reliable. On the sightseeing days and the wedding day we will provide shuttles, for the rest of your trip we will recommend taxi companies and may be able to provide group discounts.
Beirut-Rafic Hariri International Airport is the airport you should fly into. July is the high season, so the earliest you book your flight the more affordable it's going to be.
There are no specific customs that you need to abide to when in Lebanon, you can come as you are :) For the wedding, women tend to wear short or long dresses with heels, and men usually wear suits, you can also stay casual if you prefer.

Please be free to choose any accommodation and area that you like. There are plenty of new guesthouses all over the country that offer authentic experiences. It is preferable to stay close to Byblos area as we will be organizing shuttles for the sightseeing days and the wedding day from Byblos that will pass by and pick you up.
