Things To Do

We are excited to share some of our favorite Hilton Head spots with you! Below is a list of things to see and do and places to eat.

Harbour Town

Hilton Head Island, SC 29928

Grab a cocktail and take a picture in front of the candy striped lighthouse.

Ride A Bike

Hilton Head has an extensive bike path system. For the most part any location that is accessible by car is also accessible by bike path. Hilton Head’s beaches consist mainly of hard packed sand so bikes can be ridden on the beach. There are numerous bike rental companies on the island which will deliver bikes to where you are staying and pick them up when you leave. Be sure to ask for locks and bike baskets when making your reservation. Many bike rental companies will also rent cribs, pack n’ plays, kid carriers, etc. Some bike shops you can rent from: - Sea Pines Resort Bicycle Shop (note: bikes may be included with certain reservations made through the Sea Pines Resort) - Hilton Head Bicycle Company

Daufuskie Island

Daufuskie Island, SC 29915

Located across the Calibogue Sound from Hilton Head, Daufuskie Island feels like a world away thanks to its remote nature. Daufuskie is only accessible by ferry, has few inhabitants (around 300 full-time residents), is almost completely devoid of cars and is awash in hundreds-year-old Spanish moss oak trees and crowdless beaches. The island is also a historical hub, so much so that it was added to the list of National Registry of Historic Places in 1982. Fun Facts: John Mellencamp has a house here.

Fishing Charters

Numerous fishing charters are available throughout Hilton Head. Choose from in-shore or deep sea experiences. Charters are available at all of the marinas located on the island including Harbour Town, Shelter Cove, Palmetto Bay, South Beach and Skull Creek Marinas.
