The Robin Room is our favorite place in Madison to grab a drink! This small craft cocktail bar is in the heart of downtown Madison and has a little bit of everything. We highly recommend trying a Gold Rush or an Espresso Martini with Reposado Tequila and enjoying the brown couch in the front window behind the neon pineapple.
Bar Corallini is our favorite place for food in the area. This restaurant has homemade, authentic Italian food and a super fun vibe! Their menu offers gluten free and vegan options too. We recommend trying the Gnocchi, Muffaletta, or Vegan Cacio E Pepe for dinner, and their homemade Limoncello or Dark Chocolate Sorbet are a perfect way to end your meal. (608)709-1316
The Dane County Farmer's Market is a Madison staple. You’ll find the season’s best bounty of vegetables, flowers, meats, cheeses, and specialty products from approximately 220 vendors throughout the year. Over 130 members attend every Saturday. All of the items for sale are grown, raised, and produced in Wisconsin by the person behind the stand. Between the months of January and April the market is held at Garver Feed Mill, and between the months of May and November the market is held on the Capital Square downtown Madison.
The University of Wisconsin–Madison Arboretum is a teaching and research facility of historic research in ecological restoration. To start your visit, stop by the Visitor Center, to get the latest news from the volunteer receptionist, pick up maps and pamphlets, and visit the bookstore and art gallery. From there you can walk the many beautiful trails and take in the nature. You might even stumble upon The Lost City or our house!
