Ever meet someone you don't remember meeting? Well, that's how this story begins. Michelle and Ashley "met" while attending Clark Atlanta University, in Atlanta, GA, on two separate occasions. But the best part is neither of them recall those two chance encounters! I guess first impressions don't always last...jk Fast forward to 2012 and another chance encounter, they were reunited while celebrating a former mutual friend's birthday at a random bar in Pinole, CA. After chatting each other up, Michelle has the epiphany that she and Ashley have met before and starts their walk down memory lane... "Where did you grow up?" "What school did you go to?" So, after 5 minutes of "Where is Carmen San Diego?"; then it clicks... they met at the illustrious Clark Atlanta University! AND were both Accounting majors! With that settled and the promise to keep in touch, Ashley and Michelle started their long road to friendship. At a time when the world was shut down and family gatherings were being frowned upon, the universe happen to come into perfect alignment for Michelle and Ashley. On 6/24/2020 surrounded by the whole Holland clan and their (Ashley & Michelle) beloved nephew/son Damion, Michelle professed her love and desire to spend a couple of forevers.
