For guests flying in, the closest and most convenient airport is Charleston International Airport (CHS). It’s located approximately 45–50 minutes from Kiawah Island and 20 minutes from downtown Charleston.

We wanted to give everyone the flexibility to choose accommodations that best fit their preferences, whether that’s a favorite hotel, a boutique stay, or an Airbnb downtown. For those who would like to stay in downtown Charleston, there are a variety of great hotel options (see our favorites below!) as well as Airbnb rentals throughout the area to fit different styles and budgets. We will have transportation from Downtown Charleston to Kiawah and back for the day of the wedding. We recommend booking early, as October is a popular time in Charleston.
