Guests may choose to stay on Kiawah Island for proximity to our wedding reception, beach access, and a relaxed, resort-style experience. Perfect for those looking to unwind, enjoy the beach, and particularly those who plan to golf. Kiawah offers a quieter, scenic setting with beautiful surroundings and easy access to outdoor activities. Alternatively, guests may choose to stay in Downtown Charleston, where our wedding ceremony and welcome party will take place. Downtown offers historic charm, incredible dining, shopping, and nightlife, making it ideal for guests who want to explore the city and turn the weekend into a full Charleston getaway. Please choose the lodging option that feels right for you! We are so grateful you’re making the trip to celebrate with us and want you to be comfortable and enjoy the weekend!
We will provide full details on transportation closer to the wedding, however we intend to provide shuttles for both locations. As our wedding ceremony and reception will take place at two different locations, we will ensure transportation is available so guests can enjoy the celebration without worrying about logistics.
We kindly ask that only the guests listed on your invitation attend. While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults only event, aside from a small number of children in our immediate family. Thank you so much for understanding!
We request guests dress in black tie attire for our wedding. Tuxedos and formal dresses are encouraged, but most importantly, we want everyone to feel comfortable and excited to celebrate with us. If you don’t own a tux or formalwear, please don’t stress, just dress to the occasion in whatever feels like your best version of black tie. Our reception will take place at a golf course, so ladies may want to reconsider stilettos. Block heels, wedges, or dressy flats may be your best friend by the end of the evening!
