A classic site in the Soo.
See where the bride and groom met and where they have spent the last four years.
Contender number one for "Best Burger in the Soo." They are a cash-only drive-in that offers a burger that doesn't back down.
Contender number two in the never ending battle for the "Best Burger in the Soo." Keep in mind you are in for a feast.
Are you in for margaritas? How about chips and queso? The Palace delivers classy Tex-Mex cuisine in downtown Sault Ste. Marie. Joe and Hannah give this place two enthusiastic thumbs up!
This is a classic bar with food that is to die for. With burgers like the Fat Bastard and Drunken Cow, it has to be good. This is a favorite of Hannah and Joe.
Right off of exit 310 on I-75, stands the world's largest crucifix! This is a great stop along the way :)
This is a great location to get a beautiful view of Lake Superior! The drive out to this historic lighthouse is also a lovely 30 minutes west of the Soo. If you are looking to explore some of the sites of the UP, this is a gem.
TQ Falls is a classic site in the UP! We recommend checking out this beautiful piece and making a day trip out of it! TQ is located about an hour and a half west of the Soo off of M-123, just outside of Paradise. There is a rustic brewery at the Upper Falls that serves a wonderful glass of homemade root beer.
Fudge, horses, and bikes...oh my! This popular Michigan tourist site is only 45 minutes by road plus a 20 minute ferry ride from the Soo. Mackinac Island is a charming island with lots of history and character! This is a wonderful day trip for all age groups! Joe and Hannah has celebrated their 1 and 2 year anniversaries here :)
