If someone told me I'd meet my best friends in life through my first teaching job, I'd never have believed it. Now, 10 years seems like we've known each other a lifetime. True friendship is when you can work side by side every day and still enjoy hanging out together afterward. I can always count on Dan to razz me about something silly I did, leave photos or videos on my phone when I'm in the bathroom at Old Post, and be there for the good, bad, and ugly. Watch out when we play games together, though... we both have a serious competitive streak.

Jess was my mentor at my first teaching job, gave me my strong foundation in special education, and I still go to her with questions to this day. Whether it's teaching-related, summer nights at the summer house, hanging out having drinks at home, or impromptu karaoke on the patio, we always have a great time with lots of laughs. If someone told me I'd meet my best friends in life through my first teaching job, I'd never have believed it. Chance made us coworkers, fun and laughter made us friends that are like family.

We met through mutual friends, and there was no turning back from there. Brian loves to razz me about being old, never fails to razz me about silly things I've done, and is always up for getting a drink, a jet ski ride, or a sauna and cold plunge. I can always count on Brian for a good laugh and random snaps to get me through a day. Behind that joking-around exterior is a kind and amazing friend who is always there with a listening ear.

If someone told me I'd meet my best friends in life through my first teaching job, I'd never have believed it. Jen welcomed me to the team as a long-term sub, and we connected right away. Her spirited personality and caring nature towards others are unique. She is the life of any room she walks into and never fails to make me laugh. Thursday night dinners at Mimmos are always memorable, and Jen was the life of the party during our Mexico trip. She loves her friends with her whole heart, and our traditions have grown with us over the years.
