Hannah consistently shows how the use of creativity and kindness can leave a positive impact on the lives of others. It is an honor to be a part of this and seeing the big smile it puts on Hannah’s face is one of Jacob’s favorite things in the world! Favorite Romantic Comedy: Wedding Crashers! Alexandra is very excited to gather with family and friends to celebrate the union of Jacob and Hannah. As Jacob’s sibling, she had the pleasure of witnessing his journey from day one. She is grateful for their friendship that continues to grow. Despite the distance that separates them now, the moments they share are always cherished, especially during holidays and special gatherings. She is eagerly awaiting their next river trip when she can finally challenge Jake, and now Hannah too, in a bass finishing rematch! Somehow, Jacob always won biggest and most fish caught. Game on brother! This may sound cheesy, but Alexandra, is beginning to ponder the relationship between a marriage and fishing. Both require patience, care, attention and strength. Favorite Romantic Comedy: Bridesmaids Jake and Dave met at the block corner the first day of kindergarten. One said to the other “Hey, you wanna be friends?” While growing up they frequently made short motion pictures with David's brother Matt (Dave Bond the Stink Bomb). While it is up in the air as to where those mini DV tapes are today, they had a great time making them none the less. Dave and Hannah did not meet amongst blocks, but she is building a great life with Jake! David is a skilled musician, frequently honing his craft and writing original music (rumor has it he can be found in an episode of Mozart in the Jungle ). Like Jake, David is always down to have a silly goose time, whether it be making a late-night Mighty Taco run or securing a win at local bar trivia night.

Favorite Romantic Comedy: His Girl Friday To say that Yasmeen is a talented, sweet, and caring friend and person would be a massive understatement! Yasmeen and Hannah first met while attending Ithaca College and have been doing karaoke renditions of “Big Spender” ever since (okay, it’s mainly Yasmeen and Hannah cheers her on). Yasmeen met Jake while working on the movie “Really Love”, whose title provided some major foreshadowing! Pinned on Yasmeen’s Instagram profile is a series of videos of Jake cutting a watermelon open with a pair of scissors while working on the project. Best watermelon she ever had. Yasmeen is an avid bike rider and huge fan of the movie “Cars”, so suffice to say, she’s always ready to roll (haha! wheels, get it?) Hannah and Jake are thrilled to share this special day with Yasmeen and look forward to sharing many more beautiful days in the years to come!

Favorite Romantic Comedy: THE WEDDING SINGER Are you looking for an Aries from Upstate New York who loves “Bangerz” by Miley Cyrus and is ridiculously handsome? Look no further than Daniel Leap! Hannah and Dan have been friends since college and look forward to celebrating their friendship for many more years to come! They have shared so many heartfelt and silly memories together— space prom 2018 was truly life changing — and since Jake has joined their lives, Jake and Dan have formed such a wholesome and happy friendship as well! Dan’s dedication to his friends is incredible, as he always shows up to support his loved ones. Hannah and Jake are thrilled to celebrate the big day with such a thoughtful friend— but make sure to clear the way when “Dance Yrself Clean” comes on, as Dan will be taking charge of the dance floor!

Favorite Romantic Comedy: 27 dresses Ring! Ring! It’s Helen Bell! Helen first met Jake while working on the series “House of Cards” and when they each discovered the other was planning on moving to Los Angeles, deciding to become roommates was a natural fit. Helen met Hannah shortly after and— as the romcoms would put it— the rest is history! Helen is an artist extraordinaire, always working with interesting mediums and expanding her portfolio. And if you’re ever in the market for the best homemade mac and cheese, make sure to give Helen a call (it’s her grandma’s recipe and, yes, people fight over getting a second round). Helen says being with Jacob and Hannah is always an adventure! Some of her favorite moments with them are when they all dress up and have spontaneous photoshoots. Hannah and Jake are excited to celebrate with such a fantastic and fabulous friend!

Favorite Romantic Comedy: 500 Days of Summer If you’re looking for someone who can be a college lecturer by day and complete the cinnamon challenge by night, look no further than Reggie! Reggie and Jake met while working on the movie “Really Love” and before they both would know it, they would be roommates! Hannah and Reggie would meet shortly after and this group of friends has been going on silly adventures ever since. Reggie has a broad spectrum of hobbies, from brushing up on the latest “Spiderverse” news to painting at the Griffith Observatory. He is a thoughtful and sweet friend, with a great sense of humor to match! There are too many bar crawls, parties, picnics, and magnolia grille trips to sift through to pick just one favorite memory. In Reggie’s own words “HANNAH and JACOB are his favorite memories!” and we are thrilled to make more memories with our incredible friend!

Favorite Romantic Comedy: Bros 🚨 LITTLE BROTHER ALERT 🚨 As Hannah’s younger brother, Gracen and Hannah have shared countless movie outings, frozen yogurt trips, and summer nights catching fireflies together. Gracen has a passion for learning and teaching, which perfectly fits his roles as a library assistant and a substitute teacher. He is also a Mario Kart expert and enjoys hanging out with his friends at Applebee’s when he has a day off. Gracen met Jake while visiting the west coast in 2019 and they quickly bonded over their love for frogs and funky socks. Gracen also attended his first ever concert while on his Los Angeles trip (shoutout to The Troubadour!) and had a blast dancing the night away. Gracen could tell right away how happy Jake and Hannah made each other and knew their love would be one for the books!

Favorite Romantic Comedy: Hubie Halloween Corey and Jacob met in 2011 at film school and from there on out, they were bound to be amazing friends! They share a passion for creating art, especially in an absurdest world filled with emotional realism. Corey would later meet Hannah at one of his favorite times of year: a Buffalo Bills Thanksgiving in Buffalo NY! The two quickly bonded and are now great friends. Corey is one calm, cool, and collected cucumber, who (as luck would have it) is a big fan of English cucumbers. One of Corey’s favorite memories with Hannah and Jacob happened during his most recent trip to LA. He had the honor in joining them in seeing the legendary Dean Friedman live in concert!

Favorite Romantic Comedy: Crazy, Stupid, Love Matt first met Jake in 1st grade. Jake being the detective he is (Sherlock Homes? more like Sherlock Herman) quickly deduced Matt was not David. Jake now frequently corrects others who confused Matt and David (they are identical twins, so it happens sometimes). The two quickly formed their own friendship and are thankful for every day they are in each other’s lives. Throughout the years, they have shared may adventures together, from spending nights sneaking Mighty Taco into silly movies, to staying up all night to see a lunar eclipse— these are experiences that they will always remember. Matt first met Hannah virtually, but since they both share a love of conversation and are both amazing people, when they did meet in person, it was like they had always know each other.

Favorite Romantic Comedy: Four Weddings and a Funeral Jacob first met Alex at Hebrew school and they would both go on to rule the dance floor at their Bar Mitzvahs! While they didn’t see each other for a few years, the two later reconnected over AOL IM in high school. Since then, they have had some wonderful adventures, although they lost some footwear along the way (we are still looking for that missing sandal). Hannah has found a great friend in Alex as well, bounding over common interest in movies, music, literature, and much more! Alex also runs Jupiter Radio Theater, which brings Alex’s original music to listeners. Jake and Hannah look forward to sharing this day with a near and dear friend like Alex and can’t wait to go on more excellent adventures (akin to Bill and Ted, minus the time travel) in the future!

Favorite Romantic Comedy: The Wedding Singer As the resident family rockstar, Josh brings incredible energy and melodies to any occasion! Josh’s best Thanksgivings have been those spent with Hannah and Jacob. But when they are apart, they make sure to keep the party going with face time shots and zoom parties! When the chance presents itself, they are always happy to celebrate with a bon fire on the beach as well. In their free time, Josh and Alexandra (check out her bio above!) love spending time with their dog Khaleesi and exploring new camping sites. When Jake and Hannah aren’t able to see Josh in person, his limited addition vinyls fill Hannah and Jacob's home with incredible music!

Favorite Romantic Comedy: BRIDGET JONES ALL DAY! Kate and Jake first meet on America’s Got Talent. Now this might come as a GIANT surprise to most of you, but they weren't the talent (although they did help out the talent while working for the show). They formed a friendship that continued on outside the show, which is how Kate meet her rock Hannah! Kate is a dedicated pet parent who provides a beautiful life for her wonderful dog, Lou. She also has an encyclopedic knowledge of comedy in a variety of forms. If you have to compete with Kaitlyn in a “Name That Line from Talladega Nights” contest, we already feel bad for you because our girl will be smoking the competition! Kate has been the recipient of some legendary thrift store discoveries from Hannah and Jake and loves hearing the story behind the eclectic finds. She is grateful to be friends with the two silliest geese in the world who bring the party with them!

Favorite Romantic Comedy: There’s Something About Mary Rachel and Jake first met while attending Stevenson University and reconnected years later after discovering that they were both moving to Los Angeles. We challenge you to find someone who is a bigger Dolly Parton and Post Malone fan than Rachel and when you eventually can’t, please feel free to come back here! Rachel and Jake worked on many productions together, and made many life-long memories along the way. Rachel is a phenomenal cook and baker, always whipping up new recipes that are downright divine! When Rachel isn’t making award-worthy dishes, she is also a fan or crocheting, spending quality time with family, and catching up on the latest episode of her favorite true crime podcast. Fun fact: Jake was a major factor in Rachel meeting her fiancé Stan, as Jake helped Rachel with her dating app profile!

Favorite Romantic Comedy: The Princess Bride If Hannah and Jake were to pick one person to narrate their lives, it would hands down be Stan! As an incredible voice actor and jack of all trades, Stan has charisma for days. Jake and Hannah met Stan after he started dating Rachel and were immediately impressed by his signature chicken wing recipe. In fact, Stan and Rachel are big foodies and fell in love over BBQ! Stan’s hobbies range from wood burning (we have the coasters to prove it!) to brushing up on his “Lord of the Rings” knowledge to winning the neighborhood Smirnoff Ice competition! He currently holds the all-time record at 5.39 seconds 💪
