Courage Bagels
Courage Bagels has the best bagel we have ever had! Their bagels are made “Montreal Style”, meaning that they incorporate honey into their bagel-making process. This helps give the bagels a touch of sweetness and an EXTRA crispy exterior! If you go on the weekend it can be quite busy, so be prepared to wait in line for up to an hour, but honestly it is worth it. Recommendations: - The Burnt Everything Bagel - The House Butter - The Expresso Notes: - All seating is outside.
Hank's Bagels
Hank's Bagels is a fun local spot with funky bagel specials and a short line. Recommendations: - The Rosemary & Salt Bagel - The Salted Butter - The Bagels of the DAY Notes: - All seating is outside. - The Sherman Oaks location is much better than the Burbank location
All Day Baby
All Day Baby is a fun and stylish breakfast spot with incredible biscuits. It is located on the East side, making it close by a lot of trendy and fun spots! Recommendations: - Biscuit Breakfast Sandwich - Grilled cheese and fries - Barbacoa Burrito
Goldburger Highland Park
Goldburger is our favorite burger spot in all of LA! We primarily visit the Highland Park location, but we have also heard amazing feedback about the Los Feliz location as well. Goldburger serves up thin and crispy smash burgers, which are paired with fresh condiments and sides. The menu is on the smaller side, but that’s because they’re aiming for quality over quantity.
Lawless Brewing Co.
Lawless Brewing is the oldest brewery in North Hollywood! (okay, okay… it’s also the only brewery in North Hollywood) Lawless hand-crafts dozens of delicious brews, ciders, and wines— and the list is always expanding! We adore that Lawless hosts plenty of community-based events as well, from bingo night to a super mario bros tournament to a local artist market, they always have fun activities going on!
Bacari Silverlake + Bar Bacari
You have heard of tapas and you have heard of Italian Food! But have you heard of Italian tapas? Bacari Silverlake + Bar Bacari gives you both and has an amazing atmosphere! The Good Nite You might recognize this place from the Hollywood Blockbuster Film Once Up on a Time in Hollywood. BUT there is one key difference! In real life it is not just a dive bar with the best price on PBR in North Hollywood! It is also a KARAOKE BAR! Pro Tip: Make sure to get there early to sign up if you want to sing! OR when a name is called and no one answers take your chance and sing a mystery song!

If you are looking for a fun activity on Sunday from 9AM to 2PM, stop by The Atwater Village Farmers’ Market! Here you will find a fun variety of local food vendors that offer a wide range of breads, specialty foods items like salsa, hummus, tamales, and more. The market is a family friendly affair with local musicians offering live entertainment. Recommendations: - Check Out the thrift Store OUT of the Closet while you are in the area! It has a bunch of fun finds. - Checking out the nearby store Wine + Eggs. You might be wondering “Hey what is the deal with that place?”. Universal City Walk Hollywood gives you the fun, silliness, and excitement of an amusement park without the high entry fee! While you are there you can check out a specialty restaurant (maybe even one from a movie) and you can even check out a flick at their AMC!

Griffith Observatory! This is a great place to see the Hollywood sign. Plus, there is also a free museum. If somehow that’s still not enough it was also in a lot of motion pictures!
