Covid Updates & Misc Questions

As we are sure everyone is aware, planning a wedding during a pandemic has a lot of uncertainties. We hope to be able to have all of you join us this joyous day, however we are aware it may not be possible. As we get closer to the big day we will post updates on the site for everyone to see. March 12, 2021 We are very excited to say that we have now been given the okay to have 150 people at the wedding and able to have indoor dances. We have been told by the venue a few restrictions are still in place. - Masks will be required any time you are not seated at a table - You are able to have no more than 6 people per table, this does not apply to your head table - Alcohol consumption is not allowed after 11pm We are very happy for this update and being able to have more family and friends share in our big day!
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP as soon as you are able, by April 15, 2021.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Arrive by 4:00pm please. Please note: weather permitting, the ceremony will occur outside. There is a short walk to the ceremony site, but a golf cart shuttle will be available to assist our guests if needed. If the weather is not cooperating, the ceremony will be inside the venue.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Unfortunately, we are limited in how many people we can invite to the reception due to restrictions in place by the State of MN. Kids are welcome at the ceremony, but will not be able to attend the reception/dinner/dance. The only kids that will be at the reception are part of the wedding party family. We ask that only those who the wedding invitation is addressed to, RSVP for the reception. Thank you for your understanding.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Again, unfortunately, we are limited on the amount of people we can currently have at the venue due to restrictions in place by the State of MN. If your invitation says your name "& Guest" on the envelope, you are welcome to bring a date ( who is not a child under age 12). We appreciate your understanding.

Question

I have a dietary restriction, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes. Please note any dietary restriction on your RSVP, including if you are vegan or vegetarian, as Blackberry is able to make accommodations. However, please let us know ASAP, as they would like a month notice, if able, of any restrictions.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

There is no formal dress code. Blackberry Ridge is a golf club and ask no heels be worn on any of their greens.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes. Blackberry Ridge has ample amount of parking. Cars can be left overnight, if needed (not RVs or campers though).

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We have not booked a shuttle service. There are taxi services in the area or Uber.
