Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?
Answer
The ceremony and reception will take place in the same location, at the grooms parents home on Lower Straits Lake in Commerce, MI. Please note that we will be celebrating outdoors.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
Yes, garden party attire. The internet gives some helpful suggestions for cocktail looks for a garden party.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
Our wedding ceremony will take place at 5 o’clock in the evening, we would recommend giving yourself some extra time to park and make your way to the ceremony site. Arriving 10-15 minutes early should give you enough time, arriving any earlier may interrupt pictures.

You've mentioned having an "unplugged" ceremony, what does that mean?
Answer
During our wedding ceremony we want to see everyones smiling faces, not a device in front of them taking pictures. We have hired a fantastic photographer to take pictures, so you can be present and in the moment with us. After the ceremony, feel free to take pictures at your leisure.
