Austin and Rachel met the day before Thanksgiving of 2018 in Denver, the city of Rachel's roots. Their journey together hadn't been very long before the pandemic brought them (literally) closer in their day-to-day existence. In March of 2020, Austin's job went fully remote, moving him into the same work-from-home career style Rachel had been doing for several years. Friendship, openness, communication, perseverance, and love grew them in ways they could never have imagined during that time. Roughly eight months after being enmeshed in nearly every aspect of their lives, Austin proposed to Rachel on November 14th, 2022 in Tuscon. In May of 2022, they moved into their first home in Phoenix, Arizona, where they have been creating their next chapter as a couple just a block away from the hospital where Austin was born. They are now both grateful and elated to invite you to join them for an enchanted evening celebrating their union, family, and friends.
