Question

Do I need a passport?

Answer

Yes! You must have a current valid passport and a return ticket to exit Costa Rica within 90 days. Your passport has to be valid for at least 6 months after the arrival date to Costa Rica. If you already have a passport, be sure to check the expiration date. If you do not already have a valid passport, it is a good idea to apply early to be sure your receive it in time for the trip. 6 months in advance is recommended.

Question

Is this an all-inclusive resort?

Answer

Yes! All food, beverages (including alcohol) and non-motorized sports/activities are included. Taxes and gratuities are also included, but bring some small bills (USD$) for deserving staff.

Question

Is the resort family friendly?

Answer

Yes! The resort is family friendly, but there is an adults only section within the resort.

Question

Is there a currency exchange?

Answer

No, most places accept USD.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Dress code is beach formal. Our ceremony will be taking place on the beach, so we suggest that men wear a lightweight suit in any color and women wear a cocktail dress or a nice pantsuit. (Note bridesmaids will be wearing light blue - not to discourage anyone from wearing blue!)

Question

Do I need a transfer?

Answer

Yes, unless you want to find and book your own transportation to/from the airport and resort. While booking on the travel agents site, it will ask you this. Select the group option. The price given is TBD and will end up costing less per person as it is on a group basis.
