Please join us in celebrating the beginning of our marriage in Costa Rica! We completely understand the cost to travel and take time off work may not be achievable for some. Please join us if you are able, but we will gladly accept your warm wishes from afar! Thank you again for your continuous love, as we begin our lives together. We can not wait for the BIG DAY and look forward to celebrating with you all - near or far!

Brett and Rachel met the old fashioned way - both working at a bar. Rachel had her eyes on Brett immediately and it took a few hints for him to realize. Rachel had hinted for a few weeks that they should see a certain movie together, which he then went to see with his mom instead. Finally they exchanged numbers, and Brett invited Rachel on a first and second date. Brett took Rachel to see the movie, not knowing she didn’t care about seeing it at all. They quickly bonded over a shared love of movies, similar sense of humor, and their admiration for each other.

After almost 8 years together, Brett knew he wanted to do something special to propose. He requested the help of Dan Orlando, a wonderful musician who Brett and Rachel had seen a few times locally and are big fans of, and Brett knows from elementary school. Brett asked him to play their song at an upcoming show and told him his plan to propose. Brett invited their family members to the show and Dan Orlando played the song mid-show. Rachel thought nothing of it, that he had just requested a song, and was completely shocked when Brett proposed at the end of the song! This was a Wednesday, and the rest of the week was full of celebration with loved ones, and couldn't have been more perfect.

Instead of just one night, we really wanted to be able to celebrate for an entire weekend with our favorite people. We chose Costa Rica because of its unique beauty and culture. We so look forward to being with everyone!
