Lily has been Mackenzie's best friend since freshman year of high school. They spent their teen years eating lo mein at the mall and driving around the Cape with Lily in the passenger seat playing DJ while both sang along to every song. Mackenzie and Lily have matching Halloween pajamas and love Childish Gambino to no end.

Luke

Best Man

Luke is a strong contender to win best Herb 2022 if Mackenzie doesn't change her last name in time. He's the best person to ask for a delicious lakeside cocktail and overly competitive about Headbands, Catan, and Gin Rummy.

Jessica

Bridesmaid

Jessica is Jake's favorite little sister, she is an all-star horseback rider and a huge fan of true crime. She and Mackenzie became best friends over a shared love of playing solitaire and Gin Rummy during quarantine. Despite living one time zone and 1600 miles apart, they talk nearly every day.

Sam

Groomsman

Sam is Jake's youngest brother, he loves cars, fast food, and kicking Jake's butt at video games. He insists on calling Mackenzie Car Dent because of the one time she backed Jake's car into a tree, which Jake claims was "the size of Montana", even though everyone else in the fam has had more avoidable and equally embarrassing accidents.

Diana

Bridesmaid

Diana is Mackenzie's best friend from college, roommate of 2 years, and once set a brownie on fire by accident in their apartment. She is the kindest soul on the planet, a makeup guru, and is always down to watch a rom-com.

Cristela

Bridesmaid

Cristela is Mackenzie's favorite person to go to Nandos with, her favorite server to close the bar with, and was the first friend to give Jake her stamp of approval. Cristela insists she is Mackenzie's true soulmate but has given them both her blessing.

Bobby

Groomsman

Bobby is Mackenzie's favorite oldest brother, a dad to the cutest ring bearer ever, and the funniest Langan child. Until his voice got too deep, Bobby would impersonate a Lepruchan he named Lucky when Mackenzie was a little girl and help her build Leprechaun traps every St. Patrick's day. As a result, he was given all the chocolate coins that their mum would leave out in place of their 'escaped' Leprechaun.

Claire

Bridesmaid

Claire and Mackenzie met and were instantly friends. She was the first person Mackenzie told she was going on a date with Jake, the sole reason Mackenzie made it through 2.5 years at Black Coffee, and the best barista in all of the DMV (and now Colorado). She is one of Mackenzie's favorite people to cook for, and the two often were mistaken for one another when they served together at BCDC.

Pitcher

Pitcher is one of Jake's oldest friends, and Jake can’t believe how lucky he is to have met such a great friend at such a young age. When they were in school together, their families would go camping, and Pitcher and Jake were a dynamic duo on the hiking trail. They ran cross-country together in high school and saw countless live shows in the summers leading up to college. When Pitcher isn't getting injured or being klutzy, he loves mountain biking, fishing, and cross-country skiing.

Rachel

Bridesmaid

In spite of being from neighboring towns, Mackenzie and Rachel did not meet until Jake introduced them and the two became immediate friends. When Rachel isn't at dance rehearsal teaching her choreography or in the lab she's probably at Mackenzie and Jake's apartment eating pizza with them and having a movie night.

Ian

Ian is Jake's best friend from Duke and basically our next-door neighbor because he's a med student at NYU. Ian and Jake made the crazy decision together to attend paramedic school during undergrad, so some could say their friendship is more of a trauma bond. But, their shared love for medicine, rabbits, and Duke basketball would suggest otherwise.

Yesha

Bridesmaid

Yesha is Mackenzie's best friend and ride-or-die from grad school. Despite only knowing Mackenzie for two months, Yesha cried more than her when she found out Jake proposed. She loves to pawn her baked goods off on Jake, and even though she loves the F train, Mackenzie has been able to see past that fault and the two have been nearly inseparable since October 2020.

Thomas

Groomsman

Thomas, Jake, and Mackenzie became fast friends during their first year at Mount Sinai. Within minutes of meeting Thomas, you will learn he is a super fan of Peloton, an avid runner (catch him running 2 marathons this year!!), and a born and bred New Yorker. He is the best person to ask for NYC bakery recs, and the only person over the age of 22 who loves the Lower East Side. Oh, and ask him about Van Leeuwen Ice Cream!

The cutest 3 year old on all of Cape Cod, loves trucks and racing with Auntie in the yard.
