Will there be alcohol?

Yes, a cash bar! They accept CASH ONLY!

Where do we park?

Answer

There are multiple free parking lots close to the hotel along with street parking! You can also park in the parking garage directly underneath of the hotel, but there is a fee of $1.50 and it is CASH ONLY! If you arrive to the hotel driving on Commerce Road and make a left onto N New Street that is where you will find the entrance to the parking garage. There is an elevator inside of the parking garage that will take you directly into the hotel lobby!

Did the hotel change it's name?

Answer

Yes, the hotel is now called Hotel 24 South and it resides at the same address which is: 24 S Market Street Staunton, VA 24401 If you open the Maps app on your iPhone and type in "Stonewall Jackson Hotel" OR "Hotel 24 South" it will get you there, you just have to decide where you want to park!

Can I bring a date?

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

We have a large guest list and limited space available in our ceremony area. We are asking that no children under the age of 8 attend. If you have no options for a babysitter and need to bring your child or children please reach out to us so that we can make the necessary adjustments to your RSVP. **There will be limited space available for children under 8. Therefore, if you foresee that you will need to bring your child/children I suggest reaching out sooner rather than later. Once the space is gone we can not allow more than that.

How do I RSVP?

Answer

Click on the “RSVP” tab located at the top of the page. Type in your name and your entire party will show up. Once you have completed your RSVP for the ceremony you click “next event” on the bottom right of the screen and you will then RSVP for the reception and make your meal choice. Please make sure you RSVP for both events and make a meal choice. We have to have everyone’s name, meal choice and table number on their place card! Thank you!!

How important is it that I RSVP?

Answer

It is extremely important that you RSVP! We are having a plated dinner, therefore every meal is individually served. We have to account for everyone attending and if you have not submitted your RSVP then there will not be a seat or a place card for you in the reception ballroom. So, please RSVP on this website by our deadline!

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail, please. But we want you to feel comfortable, so if those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight, let it all hang loose.
