Travel Note
We recommend staying in Edgartown, which is the town our wedding venue is in. Another good option is to stay in Oak Bluffs, which is close to the Steamship Authority ferries. The two towns are very different but both are the perfect Vineyard experience in their own way! More information on each town can be found in the FAQs.

The ceremony and reception will both be at the Winnetu and it's where the bride and groom will be staying as well! The resort is primarily made up of one-bedroom suites that can sleep up to 5 people, as well as suites and cottages that can accommodate even more. These rooms are great for families but also a fun option for friends looking to use the weekend to catch up! The resort is just outside downtown Edgartown and has a complimentary shuttle regularly running into town. A family-friendly resort, it's just a short, scenic walk to South Beach (which can be seen from many of the rooms) and has tons of activities on-site. Travel Note
While we know traveling to the island can be a bit daunting, especially if you haven't been before, it's actually quite easy! The Winnetu, our wedding venue, has a great travel page outlining the ferry and direct-flight options (see below). For those flying to Massachusetts, we recommend flying into Boston's Logan Airport and taking the Peter Pan Bus to either Woods Hole (what we normally do) or Hyannis and catching a ferry. American Airlines, Cape Air, Delta Airlines, and JetBlue offer limited flights directly onto the island as well.
Travel Note
We recommend enjoying the weekend without a car. All the towns on the island are very walkable and the best way to get around the island is by bicycle (which are very easy to rent). For those staying at the Winnetu, the resort provides a complimentary shuttle to and from Edgartown. If you are staying elsewhere, there are several taxi companies on the island as well as buses running between towns. If you do want to have a car, there are several car rental companies on Martha's Vineyard or you can reserve a spot on a car ferry. Please be aware that all these options tend to book up very far in advance (think 9 months or more), so we encourage you to look into it right away if it's something you might want to do.
