Tickets are sold with entry times throughout the day, but we suggest going after dark to experience it in a truly magical way.
Winterthur Museum, Garden, and Library
Founded by Henry Francis du Pont, Winterthur is an American Treasure. Regarded as one of America’s most beautiful historic homes and mansions, on par with Biltmore Estate, Monticello, and Hearst Castle, visitors marvel at du Pont’s elegantly-furnished 175-room former home. Winterthur’s 60-acre garden is considered one of this nation’s great gardens, and its research library serves scholars from around the world. Celebrate the holidays during Yuletide at Winterthur. Nemours Estate
Owned and developed by our founder, Alfred I. duPont (1864-1935), Nemours Estate comprises an exquisite, 77-room mansion, the largest formal French gardens in North America, a Chauffeur's Garage housing a collection of vintage automobiles used on the Estate, and nearly 200 acres of scenic woodlands, meadows and lawns.
The Playhouse on Rodney Square
The Playhouse on Rodney Square, formerly the DuPont Theater, in Wilmington, Delaware, presents national touring productions of Broadway shows and is the oldest continuously operating legitimate theatre in the country. Located in the luxurious Hotel du Pont, the brightest stars of stage and screen have lit the Wilmington sky and graced the lovely 1,252-seat Victorian theatre since 1913.
