Chris and Erica were introduced by Erica's best friend, Jessica. Both attended Jessica's housewarming party in July of 2016, but Chris was too nervous to say hello. They officially spoke a month later hanging around the fire pit in Jess's backyard. After a year and a half both thinking they might have feelings for each other, in January 2018 they decided to give it a shot and by February they were official when Chris asked Erica to be his girlfriend. Fast forward through moving in together, surviving raising two border collie puppies (pretty sure they are velociraptors in disguise), sharing fun days with our families and friends, making memories on an amazing trip to Mexico, and some serious conversations on how to properly clean the house...

On October 27th, 2019, while on the way out the door to brunch at their favorite local spot, Cantwell's, Chris mustered up the courage to ask Erica to marry him. After multiple "no no no no no"s of disbelief from Erica and Chris trying to grab Erica's right hand instead of left, they figured it out and the answer, of course, was "YES!"

As our story continues, we are looking forward to having you share in our happily ever after. The bride found her prince charming, and then we found our fairy tale venue to say "I do!" ....But then the pandemic came and the venue fell under a curse. So we've been forced to postpone the celebrations until the curse can be lifted and we can all join together again. Please, save our new date! However a curse could not stop true love. We were married in an intimate home wedding ceremony on our original date of 1/2/2021. Thank you to all who could join us via Zoom! We cannot wait to celebrate with you in person at the Hotel DuPont for our Wedding Celebration & Reception on Sunday January 2nd, 2022!
