Is it Henry or Harry?

Answer

Don't worry, you aren't the only one confused. His full name is Henry but he goes by the nickname Harry (just like Prince Harry does).

What should I wear?

Answer

We love seeing everyone all dressed up and looking their best. We would recommend semi-formal attire with cocktail dresses or suits (no jeans please). Please note that there will be some grass and stones in the gardens so we recommend a thicker heel if you are wearing one.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We are expecting to start the ceremony promptly at 4:15pm. We recommend arriving at the ceremony location no later than 4:00pm. Please note the ceremony location is a 5 minute walk from the parking lot so please plan accordingly. If any guests require assistance getting from the parking lot to the ceremony site, please let us know and golf cart services can be made available.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, when you arrive at Cantigny Park, tell the parking booth attendant that you are here for the Ruther/Beard wedding. Parking is complimentary, and the attendant should direct you to the designated wedding parking.

Is there transportation to and from the hotel to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, we are planning on providing a shuttle service from our hotel block to and from the wedding venue. We will update the shuttle schedule once it is finalized.

Question

Will we have time to explore the gardens?

Answer

Yes, there will be a 30-45 minute gap between the ceremony and the cocktail hour where we encourage you to walk around and explore the gardens.
